Garbage. I’m on episode 12 and absolutely nothing is happening. It’s painfully boring. It’s labelled as a romance, yet there’s no development between the ML and FL whatsoever. You could watch episode 1 and then skip straight to episode 12, and the dynamic and interactions would be exactly the same. What kind of garbage is this?
And what is going on with the next-door neighbor? What’s her purpose? She contributes nothing to the plot. At first, I thought she might be a romantic interest for the SML, the ML’s employee, but no, he already has a girlfriend. Then I figured maybe she’d show some interest in the ML, but that’s not happening either. What is she even doing? Her character feels like pure filler, another symptom of this drama’s garbage writing.
At this point, I’m just going to wait for the final episode to air and skip straight to the end to see if anything actually happens. I’m not wasting more time on this nonsense. This drama is absolute garbage.
Edit: I finished the drama, and yep, I was right. Absolute garbage. Nothing actually happens until the final episode, so everything before that is basically filler. The FL and the SFL don’t even really like the ML the whole way through. They don’t hate him, but they clearly can’t stand his personality and constantly make fun of him. Then suddenly, in the last episode, they both catch feelings for him. Come on.
And what was with the SFL being obsessed with men in their 40s? When she kept talking about her ex, I assumed he was some guy her own age, maybe in his 20s. But when he showed up and harassed her, he looked old enough to be her dad. And then she ends up liking the ML who’s also 40. I mean, nothing wrong with age gaps, but seriously?
Yeah, nah, I was spot on calling this show garbage. The only redeeming thing about it is the beautiful women, and that’s about it.
What you said isn't objective. It's just your subjective opinion dressed up as an objective claim. If something is objectively worth it, there would be actual evidence, pacing that improves, character development that exists, or some measurable progression. This drama doesn’t have that. The 12 episodes i watched with nothing happening isn’t “worth it” by any standard except personal taste.

Romance is still romance, even if she doesn’t have genuine feelings for them. The fact that she manipulates them through romance doesn’t erase the romantic elements. It is romance, just villainous in nature. So when I asked about her feelings and pointed out the romance in the genre, saying "no romance at all" is simply incorrect. You even admitted that the wording was wrong. A more accurate response would have elaborated, rather than giving a dismissive, childish answer. As for comprehension skills… maybe they’d be better used before giving dismissive answers that are factually wrong.

Just because the FL is portrayed as a “boss babe” doesn’t mean breaking up with someone over something so minor is perfectly fine, especially considering how deeply the ML and FL love each other.
Holding him accountable? Sure. Making him apologize? Even making him work for forgiveness? Absolutely, that would’ve made sense. But ending the relationship over that? Come on.
And I get it. You’re clearly big on FL empowerment. Your whole review focuses on the FL, while the ML is expected to grovel endlessly and reshape his entire life around her. That’s fine to a point. But let’s be real, the ML deserves a bit of respect too.
I agree with most of the comments I’ve seen. Up until episode 17, the show was genuinely solid, engaging, well-paced, and consistent. But after that point, it felt like everything shifted. It was almost as if I was suddenly watching a completely different series.
The villain arc didn’t bother me. In fact, it was expected. The ML’s character always hinted that something was brewing beneath the surface, and since the show never gave us a clear antagonist, it made sense that it would come from within the main cast. That part felt fine.
What didn’t work was how the FL suddenly regressed. She turned her back on the ML over a single comment. Sure, it’s totally reasonable to get upset or demand an apology, but to essentially break up with him over something so minor? It felt forced and nonsensical. Then came the emotional whiplash. The ML tries to win her back, she refuses, then they make out, and then she rejects him again. It became an exhausting up-and-down that never felt earned. If they wanted a breakup, at least give it a believable reason. Instead, it just felt like they were ticking off a plot requirement.
The ending was fine, but undeniably rushed. That final scene… I still don’t know if it was meant to be reality, a dream, the afterlife, or something else entirely. It was more confusing than meaningful.
Overall, the show started strong, but those late writing choices brought the rating down for me. I just wanted a more convincing and coherent finish.

Sufferers of this condition will blindly follow and support SMLs regardless of how good or bad the ML character is and how he treats the FL. In fact, the SML can even be toxic and still end up being shipped with the FL. SMLs merely need to exist for SLS to develop.
Meanwhile, not to be confused with SMLs, SFLs can not trigger SLS in these susceptible viewers. Even if the SFL has an entire field of green flags, she’ll be discarded like an unimportant background extra the moment the FL steps into frame.
Because to someone with SLS, logic doesn’t matter, writing quality doesn’t matter, character development doesn’t matter. All that matters is the familiar heartbeat they’ve conditioned themselves to chase, the hope that this time the SML will finally win, even though deep down they know he won’t.
