This was rude and very unnecessary and as far as your comment this is the problem with the bl community. Gay people…
I'm a gay man as well, and while I don't like the comments about people's looks, I would say the gay world I live in is VERY much based on looks. And I also see a lot of hatred towards "fem" guys, trans people, and many others. Gays are just as judgmental (if not more so) as everyone else. I expected the community to be more inclusive, since we've all known bigotry, prejudice and exclusion - but that has not been my experience at all.

In BL there's no such thing as Verse or Sides. LOL

You are far more hopeful than I. Good luck. Hope you enjoy!!

4 eps in and I'm bored. It's not about the slow progression of the romance. I'm fine with that. I like a realistic pace. I'm tired of Pat's expression like he's just eaten something sour. I'm tired of him being suck a weak baby about everything. He gets valid criticism and cries about it? I'm tired of them saying the same things over and over. I'm tired of them complaining about their boss when, in all honesty, he seems better than most bosses I've ever had. I don't care at all for the second couple and none of the friends here are people I would want to hang out with. This one is not for me. DROPPED.

An interesting start. The opposite side of Color Rush. I'd hate it if I suddenly heard some strangers voice in my head every time it rained. Will be interesting to see how long they keep up the deafness, once they start to know each other - or will it just be forgotten for the BL? Cute characters and actors, so I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

Feels very 2017. Low budget, amateur but not bad. A very familiar story, with some twists at the end. Nothing new or revelatory here. A quick little distraction. Loved all the peach fuzz moustaches on the boys. Finally some kids who look like high schoolers playing high schoolers (aside from the one obvious body double to supply a 6 pac for Pun in his swim trunks. High on the tropes but to be expected. I was surprised by the ending, but glad to see an alternate from the standard BL fare. Not interesting enough to watch again, though.

Sorry, can't stomach this one. My Day was hard enough, but this is just a mess. When 2 actors are in a scene together and look off-screen instead of facing each other, you know something is horribly wrong. Jelai as school Dean?? Never happen. So many unrelated stories crammed together instead of focusing on your main couple and their issues. Lame. As cute as the boys are, I just can't. DROPPED

There is a good premise present.....but I am concerned about its execution. What this story really needs to focus…
Great comments. You should write a BL!!!

I couldn't stomach Cutie Pie and this looks exactly the same. Nothing like a good, "I'll lie to him for months to win him back" story. Those are always so good. Ugh.

College friends. One confesses, the other rejects. Years later they meet again and the rejector has to try to win the confessor back... with some home remodeling and steamy NSFW scenes included.

Title The Eighth Sense Spoiler
Without the mental health storylines, this would be a fairly standard college BL. Senior/freshman, bitter ex-girlfriend, school trips, secret affair. But even then it would be a level above most BL. The characters and communication between ALL of them is top notch. Other have said it, but rarely do you get this much depth from secondary and tertiary characters. This show is a great example to all BL writers. You can have deep characters and multi-layered storylines in just 30 minute episodes. The acting is sublime, natural and realistic. Im Ji Sub does what few could do with a role of this calibre. Even when he is almost comatose from the trauma, you can still see and feel his innermost thoughts and emotions. He's a star. It's beautiful, heart-wrenching, informative and eye-opening. I will admit, some of the dialogue was a bit too textbook, this is what trauma is and how we should approach it. But it wasn't enough to truly quibble about. And while I am deeply appreciative for the mental health story and including therapy into this series, that therapist should be disbarred. To complain to a patient that "I almost couldn't pay my rent because you didn't come to your sessions" is honestly one of the least appropriate things a therapist could ever say. But again, a minor misstep in what otherwise is a great script. It's a bit heavy, so I may not watch it for a while, but I'm pretty sure I will be coming back to spend time with these two fragile lovers. And that song,..."The Story" add that to my playlist! Bravo!

I've invested so much time into the first 6 episodes that I feel like I should stick it out til the end, but I can't. The acting is horrible. Marc is lifeless. I honestly don't know how he will ever be cast again after this performance. Fluk is cringe-worthy. I can barely watch when he's on screen. I thought the premise had such promise, but it's just wasted. DROPPED.

Title All the Liquors Spoiler
Just okay. Athena says it all so well in the review above that I don't feel the need to go into great detail. A lot of story elements that weren't fully explored really marred what could have been a decent series. I felt ZERO chemistry between the leads. Neither were very good actors, IMO. Kim Jun Hyung was very mannered and calculated and I didn't believe him very often. Won Do Hyun was just stiff and non-expressive. Of course, the dead fish kisses did nothing to help. I thought the view of alcohol was very strange and disturbing at times. JiYu clearly has problems that should have been addressed. Nothing horrible, but will not recommend nor watch again.

This was mediocre. HORRIBLE subs aside - and they did make the story unintelligible at times, it was a low budget, familiar story with very few new elements. There were huge story problems, side couples who suffered from a lack of screen time, and a basic premise that was ridiculous. Rival dorms? Honestly, who gives a sh**?

What saved it was the natural, comfortable relationship between the two leads. They seemed genuinely enamored, especially Bank, who has a cute, sweet innocence that should make him a big BL star. And these two were obviously willing to go farther than most. While the kisses were mostly terrible, they were quite extensive and there was copious amounts of tongue. The steamy scene was done well, and for once I actually felt like the moaning sounded like pleasure instead of agony. I liked how comfortable they were together, how affectionate and physical. Even the side couples were treated like adults who actually were intimate, instead of the typical chaste pairings (not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's not very realistic in today's world). Still, physical intimacy is not a substitute for a good story. I wish more time was spent on that.

Shout out to Ai's mom. She was a strong presence and a great ally. And... I HOPE they fired that hairdresser. Aside from that horrible mullet, Bank's hair looked like it had been hacked with a lawnmower, as did several of the side characters. Even after 3 years of being apart from his boyfriend, he returned with the same bad haircut. Poor thing. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, nor will I watch again. It's not BAD, just nothing to really recommend here.

You're right about the "we need to work... let's get some beers" or the fact that only one of them worked when…
Wan gave an entire presentation to the whole team about his ideas for the story of the game. So... he was definitely coming up with story for the app.

This was okay. I liked the concept and the unique setting. Loved the secondary couple (who did not get enough screen time) and all the neighbors and friends. But found the two leads wooden. Tae Joon especially. They looked very uncomfortable, especially when hugging. Every single time, Tae Joon held him in exactly the same way, grabbing him by the neck in a way that made me cringe. And Won Young would then rest his head on his shoulder and look off with so little emotion. They had reams of dialogue this way. Hey, Director... how about having them say these things into each other's eyes... so the emotion can be conveyed properly? Some of the typical BL tropes that I can normally forgive seemed so childish between these two adult men. Did we really need the "splashing each other with water hoses" scene? Did we need TWO "tend for the sick boy in bed" sequences? It was all a bit too familiar when they could have given it unique and unusual angles, given the characters and setting. All in all, a decent series but not one I will watch again. Not bad, but just average.

Title Our Dating Sim Spoiler
I liked this, despite some really major and annoying script issues. One scene to the next there were inconsistencies. We have to work... let's get a beer. We've got a big deadline... but only one person works and the rest leave. Lame.

My biggest issue was an app developer hiring an illustrator and then expecting that illustrator to come up with the story for the game. That's not the way it works. I really hate it when screenwriters don't do their research. If you're going to set a series in this world, at least find out how it operates. Also, major problems with the webtoon Producer who did nothing but criticize Wan (saying he only drew in one style), then about-facing and saying his drawing has improved... when it's in exactly the same style featuring exactly the same main character. And then when Wan says he can't join the project the Producer just ignores him and says let's meet again and get beers. What?

I didn't quite understand why Wan didn't immediately start dating KiTae after he conessed. Yeah, I get it, he was hurt before but he's been crushing on the guy for 7 years and finally gets a confession and then he's going to play hard to get? Didn't seem in his character, or believable to me. I felt his character changed quite a bit after the confession. And then KiTae's "anxiety" issue suddenly appears out of nowhere.

Despite all that, I liked the characters. Lee Seung Gyu is gorgeous, even with the big nostrils. Too bad he cant cry on cue, but many can't. I really liked the end credits with the game simulations. They brought it all together nicely. They made an adorable couple and their kisses were pretty darn hot, I must say. I might watch bits and pieces to see these cuties (and their quirky co-workers), though probably won't watch the whole series again. Cute, but flawed.

Title A Shoulder to Cry On Spoiler
This was pretty good. I liked the characters a lot. Good backstories and goals that made for some compelling dramatic moments. They were both such tender, fragile characters that you truly felt for them. The leads are gorgeous and though, at times, wooden they have moments when they rise to the challenge. What was Kyung's problem? Jealous? It seemed forced and random at times. Then the last 2 eps really fell apart. 2 different 2 year skips? And seemingly very little has happened to them in the interim. They haven't even kissed after 4 years? Ridiculous. It even takes 4 years for Tae Hyun to say he likes him. Not buying it. The matching pajamas just felt so juvenile. I know it was meant for comedy, but felt a bit too fan service-y for me. But I was rooting for them all along. I might watch an ep of two again, but don't think I would invest in the whole series.
