It's not even about gay culture to me. If you want me to feel something, you need to show it to me. I need to see the passion, the desire, the longing, the abandonment. Gay or straight, doesn't matter. I need to believe these two are in love and desire each other. A fish kiss tells me they are siblings, not lovers.
Glad that is over. Quite possibly the worst kisses in all BL history. LOL. Not that it's even needed, but if two grown ass men can't fake a good kiss, why bother having one? Didn't like the characters, felt it retreaded the same ground for the first half and then they were fast and loose with character motivations. Felt NO attraction between the leads (better in their college flashbacks than the present day). Will not watch again.

Well, I will admit that if they had become totally different characters and we had missed the transformation I would have been pissed. Just not realistic for guys who have been a couple for so long. But this is BL... realism need not apply.
This does not feel like 4 years later to me. It feels like 4 days later. But with only 4 short eps, I'm here for the uncomfortable, the awkward and all the low self esteem.
I almost dropped this in Ep 5. Just not enough story going on and 5 episodes of basically the same emotional level as the start. Thankfully, there was a small shift, so I stuck it out and will finish - but this is not my kind of storytelling. Not enough insight into the characters, not enough actual movement to the story. An unlikeable lead. A somewhat annoying love interest. And not the best storytelling overall. Glad there's only 30 minutes more to go before I can take this one off the list.
I liked this one for its unique setting and for every moment Ji Yong smiled. It had issues, for sure, but I still enjoyed it because I felt every emotion he displayed. I'll watch portions of this again, just to see him looking all giddy. I'm very interested to see him in other (non-BL) roles to see his range.

I couldn't believe we had to wait til Ep 12 for the graveside "forgiveness" moment. It felt like we'd been over that territory so many times already. Took them far too long to work out their relationship issues as well. Most of the series felt like "cute moments" strung together with very little REAL plotting. This could have been a decent 6 episode series, but 12 is far too long. Of course, that would require dropping all the secondary relationships - and in all honesty I would be fine with that.
Dean and Pharm, we know their story and if they were to be included here, they should have at least given us SOME of the feels we got from UWMA. Preuk & Manow (as much as I love Sammy) barely had enough screen time to really have insight into their characters or relationship. Tul & Waan COULD have been interesting, but were basically reduced to a one-issue couple. Bee and Prince... who cares about NEW side characters. Didn't need them in this at all. Bee is so adorable, but probably the weakest actor of the bunch - and yet he got a LOT of screen time. But all that said, I would have given anything for one moment where Win & Waan's little brother caught the eye of some hot young guy and we knew all 3 brothers were destined for love.
