All in all, I would rate this fairly low. Started ok, lost its way, became something else ENTIRELY. Rushed through the "getting to know you/fall in love" portion with too many montages. Then another shift into long, thematic-heavy monologues. Late introduction to characters and storylines. Emotions felt forced, since we didn't get the time to really know, understand and empathize with these characters. So many of the "realizations" of what they have/lost/found at the end were forced to be voice-over because they weren't truly supported or shown throughout the course of the series. And felt like they just dumped all the themes here as if they could make up for it. Lots of talking, but not as much acting. Gorgeous locations. Unfortunately, I won't watch again nor tune in for S2.

This one had some moments, but overall I'm not a big fan. Felt like the show was evolving as it was produced. Started off one way then became very different, from characters and themes to writing style. It got muddy in the middle and then became preachy and drawn out, with big gaps in between towards the end. Was the last episode some sort of poem? All the voice over and long monologues were a bit too much. A couple of charismatic boys (Ram, Josh, Max) but doubtful I would rewatch or come back for S2.

Watch The Legendary Lackey. He stars... and shines.

He looks so young. Can't wait to see more of his work.

That was adorable. I laughed out loud so many times. Great performances all around. Was surprised by some of the twists. Loved the theme of the underdog rising up. This is such a great set up for a series, I wish it continued beyond this story. But I'll watch this again and again.

Did they write a new ending in one day after reading all the fans scathing reviews? Feels like it. Train wreck start to finish. Chon was adorable, Mom was wonderful and funny (strongest actor in the show). Pang and Na were decent friends. But made no sense and not something that should have ever been produced in this day and age. Homophobia is not funny. Period. Putting it in a sitcom (that’s what this is most of the time) is unacceptable. The writers, producers and network should be called out. It’s 2021. Shame!

That was... unusual. I guess we'll forget about the workplace sexual harassment issues and just focus on the "love" story.

A bit too heavy on montage and music video elements and short on real character development. It's all meant to support a theme, rather than character.

I don't know if I could ever be "cruel to be kind", so I'm not a big fan of Tawan's choices, despite my empathy for his situation.

I'm all for showering your love with gifts, but did Ton DESERVE the promotion or was it all out of love? People do applaud his presentation, but it still felt like another inappropriate act that made me feel Ton was a bit spoiled.

The timeline was slightly confusing, especially when Ton's accident, recovery and Tawan's seeming lack of health decline (aside from his sight) happen so quickly at the end.

The sacrifice is beautiful and the redemption touching. Tied together with a lovely fantasy bow that stops short of the agony that is to come as Tawan inevitably dies.

I enjoyed it, but don't need to watch again.

Oh and why does getting a scrape make you limp?

Argh. I am so tired of how often boys get injured in these shows. And it's always some minor scrape but they get hauled off to the hospital and someone has to "take care of them until they're better." I don't think I've ever needed help putting on a bandage. How can you handle a relationship when you can't even put on disinfectant?

And Jaime shouldn't have gone into it pretending to be interested in Heart when he really wanted Win.

Ep 6 LOOKS nice. Still haven't seen subs for 5 though, so I'm sure it will be a while a while before I find out what's really going on. Seems to be more focused on the skinship. Oh to be that waterfall.

The waiting is the hardest part

The problem is... that's now the show. The actual show includes all these characters. It's like saying a book is good if you only read every 4th chapter. You can't really judge a whole by its parts. I can't ignore what's in front of me and what's in front of me is kinda a mess.

Kind of a waste of time. This is just filler to keep fans engaged. It just feels like they slapped it together without much thought. A few of the couples don't seem like they remembered who they were in their own series. An okay distraction, but not a great anthology.

I wasn't pointing any fingers (certainly not at you). And yes, good discussions do outweigh the bad here. But as someone who has been attacked for my views here it's just a sore spot for me. Keep doing your good work. Thanks.

Like the entire series, the finale was a bit confusing.

Vince confesses his love for David, but David only acknowledges that he accepts him for his (Bi?)sexuality and never addresses Vince's feelings. Poor (extremely cute) Vince is left broken-hearted (also... really? Sleeping with his girlfriend to express your love for him???).

World's lamest psychologist who tells him to believe in magical (hallucinated) love? And best psychological advice ever. "As long as you're happy, do it." "Curing" schizophrenia... by yourself... by taking classes and then getting stranded. Sorry, that's not the way it works.

I get the idea that since Simon is real, David wants to reconnect. But what are the chances this boatman is even gay and interested? Not sure if the translation was correct. "I want to tell him that... I found it already." Found.... love? Self-acceptance?

I guess those glances at the end are meant to imply there is hope, but it's all a little loosey goosey.

All in all, I enjoyed but felt like there was much room for improvement.

This has been a struggle from Ep 1. But Ep 12 is another mess. Script feels too loose, direction and editing are HORRIBLE. Actors are left standing around looking lost. Or quickly moving to their next mark so the shot can be staged. Amateur. Did we need a flashback of how Achilles got a ride to the hacienda??? And how was it such an important moment that it's what he remembers when he sits up in bed after (faking?) being sick? I did laugh at his line to Julio "You have a lovelife?" Nice way to introduce yourself to a stranger whom you're asking for help. And apparently they couldn't afford underwear, so they make Achilles sleep in a speedo?? Speaking of speedos... please don't put actors in swimming pools when they obviously can't swim (Julio). Plus, I did not need to see that man in tighty whities. Glad this one is almost over.

I feel like this has become a very different show from the first few episodes in so many ways. The characters don't talk the same (which would be fine if more than a few weeks had passed), they don't act the same, the writing style is different, the editing isn't as clear. Suddenly we have these long monologues and characters just spill every detail of their lives in one scene. Background characters are now taking up the majority of the storyline. Did Bart have anything to do in Ep 6? It just feels muddled and as if the creators didn't have a clear vision. Perhaps it will all come together in the end, but right now I'm losing interest fast!
