A decent, sweet movie. Nothing new or revelatory here, but all done well.
At least Luke's realization felt natural and progressed well. The mis-steps were in how his character then waffled. We could have used a bit more of what was going on his mind to understand him more and then these moments would have worked slightly better. And while "f*ck it" is a fun way to express his feelings, it's actually lacking when it comes to expressing his confusion and struggle.
I actually don't think we needed the fortune teller, but that's about the only thing that made this story different from most BL.
Adrian did a nice job making a stereotype real, but his other friends squealed just a bit too much for me. Keann has incredible charisma. I sense a major star emerging in 10 years. Wish we had seen more of Renshi, who was one of my favorite parts of "In Between."
I am doubtful that I will watch again. As one reviewer said, it was just a little flat. Didn't draw me in and affect me the way I would hope. But still worth a watch if you're looking for a BL fix.
A very real, bittersweet coming of age, coming to terms with your sexuality story. Well done all around. Honest, thoughtful, dealing with many different issues within it all. Handled with respect. Loved the lead. Felt it all. Some beautiful tender moments, great friends, well rounded secondary characters. It’s a bit too real for me to watch again , despite all its wonderful qualities. But everyone should check it out at least once.
Cute, sweet, tender. Not much of a story, but very well done. Wish I had more time to get to know each of these characters, because they've all got solid foundations. Not really a rewatch type of short, but worth checking it out.
Eh. It was ok. Felt unfinished. Not enough to really draw me in. Liked the different setting and relationship than typical BL, but didn't feel like a complete story. The musical segments were bizarre and out of nowhere. Not enough to bring me back for another viewing.
A nice art-house/student film. Takes what a typical BL would shows us in 2 episodes and trims it down to 3:30. Well shot, beautiful boys, some nice longing looks and a hopeful ending. Not something I would recommend, but only because it brings absolutely nothing new to the genre. It's perfectly sweet but I don't need to see it again.

I watched one sub version where the other two boys (class leader and friend) say something about "you can't recognize faces" in an early episode. The other sub version did not have that line. But it was not fully explored in the series and when it showed up at the end I felt like it was a bit convenient. But it didn't bother me enough to complain. Haha.
I don't know if I can say anything bad about this. I was in love at first sight. The cinematography, the most beautiful couple ever, the acting, the story, the music. The pain, the joy, the bliss, the acceptance, the humor, the tenderness, the raw honest emotion. Two characters who articulated themselves and their desires. Son Woo Hyun turns what could have been an obnoxious stereotype into the most charming character. His giddiness when he eats, his smile. He is so endearing. Kim Kang Min in all his raw, tender vulnerability melts your heart. You have to fill in some character backstories on your own, that I wish were explained a bit more, if I can be nit-picky. Side characters are all well developed. I'll watch it again and again (already have).

I've not seen Sam before, so I can only judge him here. I really liked him, but Yu steals every scene. He has a quiet intensity. If Yu looked at me like that... no words.
A cute short, with a couple of nice twists. A coming-out BL - but the real story is the love between mother and son, which is just as touching. Loved the "shrinkage" scene. Very funny and sweet. No real romance, the boys hook up and then are an instant (adorable) couple. Needs a better sub, because with a little more finesse the script could have been even more dynamic and impactful. (Not sure which version I saw, so no offense to any other subbers) Almost didn't recognize young War, he's grown into such a handsome young man. I might watch again, but it's not a must for repeated viewings, although the short running time helps.
Not my favorite ending, but I guess it's all to set up S2. Yu is so good. Lots of emotions going on in that expressive face. I'm happy seeing them so comfortable and affectionate with each other, although they got there kinda fast (with only 6 eps, I guess you have to). I'm not a fan of the Doc. He's a little creepy and kind of a jerk. Hope to see the side couples more in S2. They are all great. For a series that has only familiar elements and tropes and storylines we've seen a hundred times before, this was just perfect. I'll watch again and again (I'm already on 2nd viewing). My heart is melting.
I felt like their previous kissing and sex scene was better than this. what happened lol.
The two mains are both naked (if I remember you get a butt shot and lots of other skin) and sex is shown with nothing left to the imagination. It's adult, R-rated for sure... and in all honesty wasn't really necessary. I watched it on YT, so I guess I must have seen it before it got taken down.
Top-notch production, starting with a strong script with so many memorable characters, solid acting across the boards, handled many complex themes with great care. It was really difficult to watch. It pushed a lot of buttons and that's just what it was meant to do, and I am grateful for it. Yes, the ending is ambiguous, although I think there are many indications as to exactly what happens and exactly what each of them are thinking/feeling and just how f-ed up the whole relationship was from the beginning, but everyone can draw their own conclusions. Watch this, but be ready for some misery and suffering.
A beautiful short series/film. Edward Chen does another amazing job, as does Xu Tao (so cute, such expressive eyes). Very similar to Your Name Engraved... which is odd, since Edward is in that one too. A bit more serious in its treatment of homophobia and bullying, but handled expertly. I got confused for a bit. Didn't know who the little Sailor Moon boy was, or how he fit into the story. Wasn't until the end that I realized he was in the same class. Probably just missed his intro. They could have given us one more kiss at the end... come on, they'e been waiting 17 years. Charming and I will watch again, although I might stop at Ep 6 or 7 before it gets painful. Even the little hope at the end still stings a bit for the lifetime of pain that preceded it.
