I feel like I'll go to hell for having pressed the rewind button too many times during *a certain scene*.Okay,…
It’s so different from My Gear and Your Gown , where instead of being positive and supportive, Itt bullies him to give him confidence. Like... what?

Sorry this is sudden, but, have anyone noticed the shirt Adachi is wearing in the first part of episode 9? Isn't…
Have you seen the 10 details you missed fan vid? That’s a couples shirt that matches with What Adachi wore during the slumber party.

Oh my. This #7 was a rough episode. Some poor scripting and direction that left all the actors hanging out to dry.

I love a nurse who knows his friend is having an allergic reaction but doesn’t administer anything other than a blood pressure cuff. And who, rather than tend to the sick, berates the one person who is caring for him.

Interested to see where this goes but it’s gonna be a rough ride all the way.

Title His Spoiler
A bittersweet movie. In my opinion... they just took the same names and surfing from the series, but otherwise these are not the same characters. Nagisa, especially seems like a different character. He was certain of his sexuality in the series, but the entire premise of this movie is his confusion.

I actually watched the movie first, not knowing there was a prequel series. It stands alone and you don't need either to support each.

That being said, this is a sweet, gentle movie that really shows you a new way to think of family, and one of the things I liked most about it was how the entire village becomes their family. This glimpse into small-town life was so heartwarming. There's a lot of heartbreak, longing, repressed feelings... typical for Asian BL. All done well with a strong cast, especially young Sora. I want her to be MY daughter.

Now let's see HIS: Sora's Wedding (I'm making up that title). But wouldn't it be fun to see them 15 years from now, what their relationship is like and what they have to endure when they meet Sora's homophobic in-laws (I'm making that up too).

Sweet, innocent, emotional, realistic. Even though both boys have difficulty expressing themselves, you can tell what they're feeling throughout. Chika is amazing. Such a great character and the actress plays it so well. Same for Ako. Really well defined and accepting female roles that have almost as much importance in the story as the boys. Loved the parents, especially after the Love Hotel scene. Lol. Both boys do a very good job, especially Nagisa.

While they say this is the prequel to the movie, they did not feel like the same characters to me. Nagisa is so certain in his sexuality that to see him struggle all those years later didn't feel authentic to me. The movie is fine on its own, I just wouldn't call it a sequel.

Kinda liking, kinda hating, kinda disturbed, kinda pissed. Is it dark, is it light, is it on purpose? But Khaotung is doing a great job.

I don't really take this series that seriously, but your comment interested me. If I were to take it back a few…
Fantastic discussion all around. Agree on most points. The only thing I will say in Chon's defense is he's still a teenager. So I can ALMOST forgive him, since he's not thinking clearly, with all the hormones etc of that age. That's the stressor in his life. Ai and Ni I can't accept for any reason, aside from the delightful actors who play them.

Also agree there are darker messages here than in most BL. At first I thought the Call Girls were just going to be an awkward joke, but to see them brought into the storyline in a deeper fashion was quite surprising. So many odd choices, that I can only hope they are all very purposeful and will unfold in a manner that reveals their true intent.

Boy when people complain about other shows being slow, just show them this one. It’s beautiful but did anything happen in this last episode?

From what I saw, I would say Ram refused to be interviewed by Migo and Migo is salty about it. Not sure if there…
I don’t think he made the FIRST comment, but just fueled the fire and forced Ram’s decision sooner than later.

Title He's Coming to Me Spoiler
I avoided this show for a while. The premise didn't intrigue me. BOY WAS I WRONG! This was as close to perfect as it gets. Loved the set-up. But when the mystery was introduced I was shocked. Not what I was expecting at all. And I loved that! I liked how subtle the BL elements were here. It was just one small part of this story. Nothing was forced. None of the typical BL problems. Wasn't expecting the "coming out" moments either. And with the world's most perfect mom saying all the right things, who could complain? Then that shocker that Mom knew Med. Mic drop! Never saw that coming. Not sure how I feel about Grandpa being forgiven so easily, but not a real sticking point for me either. And the ending. Glad to have a kinda happy ending, although it felt even more contrived than the entire outrageous plot. But it also wasn't quite happy enough for me. He's still a ghost and no one can see him, so no hope for any real relationship, but I'll take it. Anything to see Ohm smile. That smile.... sigh.

Ohm is extraordinary. So natural, real, subtle, honest. The most handsome, most fit (those arms!), best actor in the industry. I mentioned that smile, right? But my gosh how HUGE he has become. Giant, indeed. Singto does a really good job. Everyone in the cast turns in their best work. Kudos to all. Great production as well. Top notch all around.

Some of the more sitcom-y elements were not my favorite, but I was glad to have lighter moments amongst the heavier drama elements.

Rises to the top of my BL list, alongside Addicted, HIStory and LBC.

Who's crying? I'm not crying. YOU"RE crying.

Oh my gosh he's gotten so tall. Such a strong actor. Natural, real, believable. Great control. Even the way he modulates his voice. He will be a huge star and I'll follow him anywhere.

I had to give up on this season because I can only see the fan subs and they have been re-edited so the audio and video do not match. There are also all these weird edits where they have obviously re-edited the video to add additional close-ups. It makes everything so jumpy I feel like I will have a seizure from watching. It's a different shot every half-second instead of just letting the scene play out. Whoever is doing those BL fan subs needs some editing classes. I mean, thanks for even trying. I appreciate all your efforts, but this is unwatchable in this form. Too bad. I'm a big Gulf fan, and Leo has great potential. But friggin Mew whines way too much.

Ep 2 was a little rough. The amateur acting really flared up. You can see they didn't have much time for rehearsal, since they seem awkward standing around, not sure when to deliver their lines or where to move next. Poor direction as well. And after a huge fight all it takes is peeing on someone for a new group of friends to form??? I'll watch this, because I watch everything. But so far it is not compelling, other than its focus on real LGBTQIA+ issues.

I'm piecing it all together too, but since Ram feels he was forced to out himself publicly based on Migo's comments, that's another part of their conflict.

For me, ultimately I enjoyed it more than not. Every series has their high and low points. Loved the set-up and the intro to the characters and their relationship. I didn't mind all that time in High School, like some did. It lagged in the middle and the clash between the leads seemed forced and unrealistic. Wooden acting and uninspired script at time, though the acting improves over the course of the series. But dang if by the end I didn't actually like and have an interest in what happened to each of these characters, including the other 2 side couples. The last episode was bizarre. So much introduced and dealt with and resolved and all happy ending-ed.

I could watch these two all day. The kiss was great... felt like a stage kiss, but still so happy to watch these two cuties go at it for 5 (or 45) seconds. I'll watch this series again and again. So cute. Chen is DREAMY!
