Indeed, the scene was painful to watch, I was relieved , when the female lead appeared too.
But did you notice that no women died yet in this drama, they were true mistreated… but , at east they are still all alive or I missed sth 😅ok …. maybe apart from the mothers of the main leads , but those were more in memories

But the poor goldfishes weren't guilty of anything, so why did it take a beating too ? The writer really didn’t spare anyone in this ; )

In conclusion, stand by my opinion :

Mld has now been taken over by fanatical fandoms who either give it a 10 or a 1 - there's nothing in between for them.

A perfect example of this is now airing the Korean drama "The Witch", which received a 4.0 after 1 episode from about 80 watchers . And ep 1 was actually pretty good.

Until 2022, ratings on this site were more trustworthy for me.

People who like this drama please help fight haters and rate it 🙏

Yes, you may be right about main leads , maybe they are actually playing them, but again, the scene with the train looked like the real thing, ml were so happy leaving, on the other hand maybe the soldiers were already in the background watching and hearing everything and it was only the act.

Good, authentic and natural acting 🎭

She is one of the few famous actresses who let me forget that I'm watching a drama, and although she's quite known , I don't think about her real person when I watch her.

She can identify with her characters very well, and her body language shows me that she is comfortable interacting with her partners. ( Many actresses may be good at voicing their lines, but when I observe how uncomfortable they are with their male actors though they should show deep love - this makes me drop many promising dramas).
✨Body language it’s important part of acting and Angela is perfectly performing it!

I hope we will see her in other historical dramas in the future 🍀🤞.
