He also mentions a boyfriend, and I don't remember what he says his job is, but it definitely wasn't catering.

The videos I've watched were made a year or more ago, but how much would a personality change since then? I suspect he was coached to play a certain type of character in this show, just as someone mentioned earlier that he was probably told who to select in the roommate shuffle.

I was thinking that even after an orphan is adopted, technically they're still an orphan.

I tried to find the answer to whether the term should still be used post-adoption but all I could find are opinion pieces on opposite sides and nothing from a more official source like a dictionary.

It's starting to seem tired. Akira's obsession over his former teacher is mystifying, and to think we're going to be put through four more episodes of this. The only new thing in the entire episode was the scene on the beach at the end. It's pretty obvious that they're filling time so that there's enough for a series. This could have easily been a 2-hour movie.

I'm losing patience and sympathy for Akira. Maybe he deserves to be alone.

I'm enjoying this more and more. This week I think the extra dose of Baiboon and Khom helped, but how did Baiboon end up scraping his knee when he fell on his ass?

Btw, how old is Baiboon supposed to be? He seems very young, and I'd hate for Khom to look like he's robbing the cradle when the two of them finally get frisky (please). Even Baiboon's phone looks like something a kid would carry around. I think we need a scene where he projects assertiveness and sexual desire, slamming Khom down on a kitchen chair and straddling his lap to first rip Khom's shirt off of him before tearing off his own.

When Cherry is with Danai she needs to work on her "I'm happy for you" face so that her "You disgust me" face isn't always doing all the work. Alas, it looks like this two-faced strategy will finally catch up with her next week.

I'm going to repeat myself and say that tiger is on something. He puts the "cat" in catatonic. I don't think his eyes ever blink.

Kamol (or "Mr. Kamol", according to the caller ID on Kim's phone) told Kim that he "used to be" an orphan. Does that mean they brought his parents back from the dead?

Also, Kamol needs to stop saying "You're worried about me" to Kim whenever Kim acts remotely like a boyfriend. It's only going to make Kim more self-conscious and stop worrying, or even worse stop acting like a boyfriend.

Kamol is (again) going to thwart Danai's plan to win the bid on the casinos. I guess he'll need something new this time. The ticking clocks in a box were a huge success but now Danai will know what to listen for.

I'm going to miss this series when it's over!

The best episode by far. I was very moved.

When I first saw it I thought it would turn out that X had asked the doctor give it to him on purpose, to make Q feel more responsible. But they didn't go there.

Yeah, it seems pretty clear we're being set up for Toy to get the girl.

Mook seems really down to earth. I'm glad they didn't make her a stereotypical social media influencer who would do anything to attract more viewers on her channel.

Really enjoyed Episode 2. They're not wasting any time. Q is already starting to have feelings for X, and his actual interest in Mook is being thoroughly established as questionable.

X looked amazing in that suit for his photo shoot. I like his hair that way. The stylist who said the suit wasn't a good choice needs to see her eye doctor.

Q's mom seemed discouraged by the possibility that Q would be attracted to X, and she kept him from going back to X's condo to take care of him. I hope that's not foreshadowing some annoying drama to come.

You hit all the high notes. Implausibility after implausibility. And what the hell *is* the deal with Kim and his mother? I don't remember any prior history in the earlier episodes. It seems so random and, like you say, it reflects so poorly on the character.

(Oh, and he lives at home but she didn't know he was starting a new job--his very first job, after what his friends said was a long search???)

The shrewish "head AE" (or whatever it is) was a tired stereotype -- envious of the college kid with all the achievements, so using her authority to put him through hell.

Tim and Mai embracing on the couch took me back to TT2, when Fiat went to Leo to apologize and ended up squeezing onto the couch next to him without any fanfare, like it was something they shared every day. The moment between Tim and Mai was similarly authentic. The actors seem very comfortable with each other and look great together.

For me the big event was Bear and Mama Bear doing more than sniff-kiss, and second to that was the blessing that Mek and Kim's makeout session at the end wasn't a dream sequence. When the camera got all gauzy I thought for sure that was what we were in for. And Kim readily confessed that he had never stopped loving him. That was refreshing. In another series it would have been another denial and the last episode would be about Mek proving him wrong.

I don't know what it is, but Bew/Park is coming on strong for me in these last episodes. What a hottie! I didn't appreciate him as much as before. He's incredibly handsome.

Well, the last Ranz Gonzales series was a big tease. It had the same two leads as this one and the BL content was non-existent. If this one is really only one episode then I guess I can see if matters have improved.

Looking at the posters and miscellany in Cake's bedroom, absolutely nothing looked contemporary. And the lack of cell phones was blatant too. So I think you're right that this part of the series is set in the early 2000's.

So corny, but it will be fun. I quickly dispensed with any thought that this would be scary or suspenseful. Ironically, the music doesn't help. In the next episode I won't be surprised if there's a scene where somebody's buttering toast and the synths start pounding away.

And, sorry, but how can anyone think those acts of attempted murder are due to a curse, or that the curse is tied to having to always follow the rules? Please.

But I do love the three girly protesters. Who knew that Pak could turn it on like that!

The sound production is a major problem. It seemed the most hideous in the classroom, which was a very "live" acoustic due to the minimal furnishings on the set. In terms of that set design, most of the interior shots had a similar lack of "real feel" to them. So, I think the budget for this wasn't all that.

What saves it is the cast. It's almost like a flex by GMMTV, putting all these talented boys in one series.

I appreciated seeing First wrapped only in a towel, although it looks like he stopped working out after they finished filming "Not Me". Nonetheless, he can go all "prefect" on me any time he wants, thank you. 😏

It didn't get better. We can only hope it does in the coming episodes. At one point I literally talked back to the screen, saying Shut up already.

They cut that? That's such a funny part of the scene!
