I wonder if Putter was using his other account to confide in Indy about the situation with Lee, which then motivated Indy to test Lee's level of trust in him by prodding him about Putter. It would explain how Indy knew exactly where Putter and Lee were when they were on their date. Putter told him.
He was giving 2ML vibes at the end LOL like he's been pining for Suzuki but confronted with the flirty interaction…
He's prominent in the cast list since he's shown right after the two leads and Serizawa's three friends. I was wondering how the series would fill11 episodes but now I sense some drama on the way and I'm seated for it!
Serizawa does have a certain aura, I'd be nervous around him too. I think the most unbelievable part of this series is the idea that anyone can write a proper novel with someone hanging over his shoulder the whole time. 😅
At the end of the episode Suzuki's friend watching them seems jealous. This could get interesting.
Was it inaccurate? His other predictions outside of the tarot cards were all inaccurate, but his tarot card readings…
You make an excellent point. I didn't think of it that way. I was seeing the cards as he turned them over and what he was saying they meant and he was saying the wrong thing in reference to the their symbolism, but like you say his "wrong" interpretations were pretty accurate!
The last 15 minutes of this episode made for some of the best drama I've seen in a while. Talk about romantic sweep! Some real thought was put into the writing and direction and the result was two terrific performances by Yujeen and Yugene.
It wasn't clear who might comprise a second couple but now that that it looks like Indy will be paired with Jia I couldn't be happier. What a pleasant surprise. Aside from the two leads I've always thought that Indy was the cutest in the cast. The initial episodes gave no hints that things might take a turn this way, and I suppose Tae might still end up as part of yet a third couple, but Tae's character has a streak of unlikeability that's got me hoping that won't happen.
It's good to see that Jia knows how to get his man and is wasting no time. As the angst gets turned up for Lee and Putter I think the Indy-Jia storyline will offer us a nice respite. And it won't surprise me if Jia's fortunetelling turns out to be a ruse that's just another tactic in his pursuit of Jia, since his reading of the Tarot cards could not have been more inaccurate. 😄
Tee has been miscast and that makes this hard to watch. The situation reminds me of 'En of Love Tossara' so many years ago, where one of the leads was supposed to be the campus hottie but the actor didn't cut it, to the point of distraction.
Another issue is that the scenes with Tee and Fuse get dragged out to the point that everything comes to a halt -- literally. That scene with Fuse and his girlfriend? Boongkee is cute and perfectly suits the role of Fuse, but when the action stops and the camera just holds on him for several seconds it gets irritating.
Like, in that scene with Fuse and his girl, who couldn't have predicted that Tee would interrupt them at just the right (wrong) moment? Which also required Tee to do something that made no sense: barging through Fuse's front door without knocking. And of course when Tee showed up Fuse just stared at him for several seconds. That whole scene shows much of what's wrong with this series.
Frame and Book are a much better pair. At first I wasn't sure that PreemKrit was the right guy to play Book but I've changed my mind -- he's got the screen presence and the attitude. Shane is fantastic as well. He captures Frame's swagger beautifully -- it's like a role he was born to play. So those two were cast just right, but the problem there is that they have hardly any scenes, and unlike Tee and Fuse the ones we do get fly by. They've got the makings of a great enemies-to-lovers story but the series isn't letting us enjoy it.
There are other details I like, such as the music hook that recalls the theme song of the original and Putter's performance as Lukmo. But Tee and Fuse just don't work and it's looking like this will be a fatal flaw.
Really good! Lively and sweet as well as easy on the eyes. 🙂 This seems to have hit on the right formula for blue shorts dramas. Looks like some real thought (and budget) were put into this.

It will be interesting to see if the next episode’s YouTube view count or thumbs-up numbers show a drop compared to this week’s.
