Title The Eternal Fragrance Spoiler
Honestly, watching this show, I find Jianmu to be the most tragic and pitiable existence. The Yaksha clan committed the sins and got cursed, yet they have to devour Jianmu just to survive. I don't even know any more if the curse was meant for the Yaksha, or was it secretly targeting the innocent Jianmu?! On top of that, all those hypocritical sect cultivators are just as bad; every single one of them wants to seize and devour Jianmu's pure power. What did our Jianmu ever do wrong to deserve such a cruel and unfair destiny?!

Back in the ancient war, the Yaksha clan committed massive slaughters and disrupted the cosmic order, angering the ancient gods. As a result, they were slapped with a brutal bloodline curse: every generation of the Yaksha Demon Lord, despite owning terrifying powers, faces an inevitable backlash. They slowly turn feral, lose their minds, fall into a bloodthirsty madness, and eventually die of sheer physical exhaustion in extreme pain.
The only antidote in the universe to suppress this violent curse is the purest spiritual energy of the sacred Jianmu tree (our female lead, Jiang Lifei). In all their past lives, to save the dying and agonizing Demon Lord, the Jianmu tree—deeply in love with him—would willingly sacrifice and sacrifice herself. But this "one life for another" trick only treats the symptoms, not the cause. The Demon Lord left behind is always left living a life worse than death, while Jianmu goes into the next reincarnation, trapping them both in a toxic loop of "love, sacrifice, and painful survival."

Novel Canon: A Genuine Two-Way Street & Deep Mutual Understanding
This is exactly why the romance in the original novel is top-tier. It’s never about one person blindly taking while the other blindly self-sacrifices. It’s 100% a two-way street:
The Heroine’s Clear-Headed Fight: Jiang Lifei loves him with high self-esteem and self-love, knowing full well that "her life matters just as much." She refuses to do the cliché self-sacrifice thing because she deeply understands Xiu Yuan—she knows that if she trades her life for his, the fiercely loyal Xiu Yuan would live in absolute agony and guilt. She refuses to burden him with that kind of lifelong trauma.
The Male Lead’s Restraint & Protection: Xiu Yuan loves and understands Lifei just as deeply. Even when the Yaksha curse is tearing him apart in agonizing pain, he absolutely refuses to drain Lifei’s energy to prolong his own life. He’d rather suffer through the feral madness all by himself, and is fully prepared to die rather than hurt her or drag her down.

And I’m actually feeling so mad at the adaptation to be honest. They change all the sweet moments。 To be honest, the most unbearable thing about the drama is how the production team forced so many misunderstandings between Jiang Lifei and Lei Xiuyuan, even pitting them against each other.
In the novel, they knew each other since childhood as fellow foreign outcasts. Growing up, they were always each other’s rock and soul protectors. Once you’ve read the novel and immersed yourself in their pure, beautiful bond, it’s impossible to sit through the drama's endless, cliché "love-hate tug-of-war."

In the book's canon, their only real conflict is that the Yaksha clan naturally craves to devour the Fruit of Jianmu (which, if we are being real, was a tragedy caused entirely by human cultivators in the first place).
However, Lei Xiuyuan literally fought with his life to suppress this feral instinct. When they fled overseas, he broke his own horn just to protect Jiang Lifei. With that broken horn, the Yaksha curse was completely lifted from him. It might sound like a simple trope on paper, but under the book's setup, it is incredibly moving and emotional.

If it weren’t for Immortal Qingcheng’s "Senluo Magic" turning back time, and if Qingcheng hadn't taken Jiang Lifei away from overseas—which allowed the Fruit of Jianmu to build up its protective camouflage—Lifei would have been torn apart and killed in a struggle between Hu Jiaping and Lei Xiuyuan the very moment she matured.
It is all because of Qingcheng that they got a second chance at life. This second chance allowed them to develop human emotions and rationality, giving them the dignity to resist and refuse to yield to their feral beast instincts.

Fate choose you was worst drama ever. They really degrade ml character but hyping fl.They could have gave him…
Let me state my honest thoughts on this. I read the original novel and it’s really a female lead centric story. All plots and characters revolved around FL and you said they should give ML more presence but hey they already changed a lot of FL highlights or moments into ML’s to show their romance. But I’m not saying I don’t like ML or these changes but feel a bit disappointed cuz they really hate to produce a show with real strong female lead.

You are expecting an almost dead LXY who was fatally wounded by LF when he unlocked her power and on his deathbed…
No you didn’t offend me and I enjoy discussing the plot and exchanging thoughts. And yes you have points that she’s trusting anyone beside ML (and Qin, I’m saying this because I like her reaction when she learned that he has bad intentions to her and irritated every time he appears) and I think she is trusting TZ because she doesn’t know he’s having bad intentions to her plus this moron is not exposing anything in front of her.

And yes I’m feeling so done with the FL character writing. I really like her personality at first that she I even praised her being the most interesting and most normal FL in fact that she is completely immune to emotional manipulation, refuses to be guilt-tripped, stays incredibly level-headed, has both high IQ and EQ, possesses rock-solid morals, and is both deeply grateful and righteous. When she gets backstabbed, she doesn't just hand out easy forgiveness. etc etc but yet the writers downgraded her character a lot as the show goes on. Sigh…

Title The Eternal Fragrance Spoiler
You are expecting an almost dead LXY who was fatally wounded by LF when he unlocked her power and on his deathbed…
replying to your first comment first, I am Chinese and few of the sentences in here were translated directly from my Chinese language. So it might be a little bit confusing. But hey, I respect your opinion and I’m here to express my opinion on the situation that FL getting hates. And of course I’m not hating ML also. My point here is we also need to take a look as FL’s POV
In her eyes, demon clans killed innocent people including her friends in sect (in here, I wanna emphasize people besides her not including those so-called immoral sects who are the bad ones, and here I wanna vent about FL’s thought of trying to kill the whole demon clans cuz she’s just repeating the same thing which those bad immortal sects are doing. She even said she don’t believe in destiny and wanna change this life’s destiny at the ep 25 but she changed her mind at the last episode. That’s really dumb of her to do this.

And again what I wanna defend is that people are blaming FL not believing ML at all and blindly believing SML. I mean she doesn’t know SML has bad intentions so it’s reasonable for her to have a doubt in trusting ML and rejecting the threatening message from his underlings to save him because she witnessed her friends beside her were actually killed by demon clan
And of course she knows that as LXY by himself doesn’t have intentions to kill those people but she doesn’t know if that was his uncontrollable demon form or just LXY himself. Again she is not completely have 0 trust in ML cause we can see in past episodes she defended him knowing he is not the culprit Also expressing her feelings to him like she believe in him LXY is not Yecha and even told him to discuss things together and not to do anything on his own that they can face problems together But still XY stay silent when he tried to awake her power (here i’m not blaming him but in FL’s POV he becomes Yecha and absorbed her power like before and tried to kill her or her senior sister even though the misunderstanding got resolved later ) I mean she just lose her master, her senior sister and now what? You killed her friends and now you want her to save your lord? Your lord life is life but what about LF’s friends’ lives? What about LF herself life?

Out of context btw there’s another ridiculous thing that even I’m feeling so bad for Jianmu. They did nothing wrong but just to get absorbed by Yecha clan. Also the divine curse such a joke, the reason Yecha clan was cursed was because they killed jianmu and absorbed their power but what? The curse is to let Yecha absorb Jianmu every lifetimes or else they will be cursed to lose control and died. lol what a joke What did Jianmu wrong to be treated like this? I think I can relate to her at this point.

but yes I agree with you that FL’s action of killing ML and his entire clan is such a big mistake

I’m writing this again cuz I’m so done with this show’s editors and director also I wanna vent about how many people blaming FL I respect you guys opinions but I also want to express my opinion on FL’s character too
The scriptwriters essentially handed every single showcase of true power to the male lead. In the original novel, during the scene where Lifei was captured by Cuixuan for the public trial, didn't everyone notice that rich fragrance? That was supposed to be the moment Lifei awakens her Jianmu form. In the book, the female lead saves herself by awakening her powers and draining the spiritual energy of others, but the drama changed it so that the male lead swoops in with his ultimate powers to rescue her. Even Senior Brother Qin was supposed to die by the female lead’s hands, but they changed that too. They basically stripped away most of her highlight moments.
Every time she is in danger, she is reduced to a damsel in distress waiting for his rescue. I suppose if she saved herself, they wouldn’t know how to showcase the male lead's "strength." It honestly feels like the screenwriters never treated this female-centric novel as a proper show for female audiences; everything was rewritten just to serve as a catalyst for the male lead's character growth.

Some people will inevitably argue, "But the male lead didn't know the junior brother was dead, he didn't kill him!" To us viewers, that makes zero sense. The brother died on demon territory, and as their Supreme Lord, he completely failed to restrain his subordinates. How is that any different from using a borrowed knife to murder? He should have executed that Luocha right from the start; if he had, so many of the female lead’s loved ones wouldn't have had to die. To make matters worse, when the male lead finally woke up and saw Luocha die trying to save him, he didn’t look relieved at all—he looked deeply heartbroken. I cannot comprehend this for the life of me. If he supposedly hated Luocha for controlling him, why didn't he just kill him? Instead, he enabled and indulged him time and time again. I'm completely at a loss for words.
The male lead's underlings slaughtered so many of Lifei's fellow disciples, yet he couldn't even manage his own people. At that point, Lifei only had that one master left—she had no other family. And yet, the male lead had the nerve to ask her why she couldn't just wait a little longer, why she couldn't just trust him. Seriously? Lifei’s side was on the brink of total annihilation. What on earth was she supposed to wait for? Wait until every single person she cared about was wiped out?!

The male lead lost his mind with rage just because one of his underlings—the very one who murdered the female lead's loved ones—died, and he went as far as resurrecting him. Meanwhile, the female lead was drained and slaughtered by the male lead for eleven whole lifetimes! In this lifetime, if it weren't for him dragging her down while being pursued, her beloved master would never have had to step in and wouldn't have died. Her senior sister was indirectly killed by the male lead while trying to save her, and her junior brother was murdered by his henchmen—whom the male lead constantly enabled. When he first encountered Jiang Lifei in this lifetime, he tried to kill her multiple times, eventually backstabbing her to steal Riyan, and then went on to stalk her like a creep. Even though she explicitly warned him to stop making self-righteous decisions on her behalf, he completely blocked her out. He even went so far as to kill his own master with his own hands, only to brush it off later with excuses like "he just lost control" or "he had his reasons."
Besides, the harm inflicted by Lei Xiuyuan was done out in the open, whereas his hidden sacrifices—like those "buckets of porridge"—were never revealed. Lifei has absolutely no idea about them! All she knows is the undeniable fact that Lei Xiuyuan has repeatedly hurt her.

Practically everyone around the female lead is dead, while everyone on the male lead's side is perfectly fine. The narrative loves to highlight the male lead "saving" her, but every time he does, he gets injured and she has to turn around and save him right back by feeding him her blood and transferring her magical energy. I guess the female lead, who was tortured and killed by him for eleven lifetimes, didn't suffer at all. I guess her closest senior sister and brother, murdered by his henchmen, didn't suffer at all. And I guess Master Guangwei, whom he personally butchered, didn't suffer either. Let’s not forget she was slaughtered by Yecha for over a dozen lifetimes; everyone around her died because of him. Why on earth should anyone believe he can magically control himself this time? How is she supposed to trust a demon who has slaughtered so many of her loved ones? Is she supposed to just sit tight, wait for them to wipe out Zhuiyu Peak and slaughter her current master, and then spend the rest of her life in regret?

At the very last, don’t get me wrong I love SWL too, I watched almost all his dramas. I’m just done with this show’s director and screenwriters This is all their faults or else this show might be better than now

Title The Eternal Fragrance Spoiler
Ok I speed run the episode 28, so I think FL is mad at XY not managing his subordinates properly. Her little senior brother is killed by his subordinates and they even sent his head to her threatening her to save Yecha. I mean she just lose her master, her senior sister and now what? You killed her friends and now you want her to save your lord? Your lord life is life but what about LF’s friends’ lives? What about LF herself life? Man even I’m feeling so bad for Jianmu.
Even if Yecha doesn’t participate in this event but how can she not be sad and mad at this point? Not only did he kill so many people from the immortal sects, he even killed his own master.
After the public trial, I thought he would take Jiang Lifei and leave Wuyue Ting , but instead, he turned around and started absorbing Jiang Lifei's spiritual energy right there in the main hall.
Isnt this just like the previous eleven lifetimes, where Jianmu can never escape the destiny of being drained and consumed?
Some people say Yecha is miserable and ask why Jiang Lifei doesn't trust him.
Jiang Lifei believed more than once that he wasn't part of the Demon Clan or a Yecha, and she tried to wake him up multiple times to stop him from falling into the demon path. But the harsh reality is that once he goes full demon, he could kill everyone—including Jiang Lifei. Expecting Jiang Lifei to defend him at a time like this is completely unrealistic.

Her senior sister, Si Mo, died at the hands of the Demon Clan—wasn't that ultimately caused by Yacha's indulgence and enablement?
In other words, if Jiang Lifei really let bygones be bygones and defended Yacha right now, wouldn't people call her "love-brain" (hopelessly blinded by love)? Her senior sister, martial uncles, junior brothers... so many disciples of the immortal sects—how many more people have to die? Even Jiang Lifei herself wouldn't survive it.

However, after comparing it with the original script, I can only say the production team is truly cruel to the female lead. Her ultimate power scenes get cut, while other characters get extra screen time. The villains who were supposed to be written off long ago just linger around, while those who shouldn't have died were callously killed off.
But thankfully, Jiang Lifei's core character traits remain intact. This shines brighter than any flashy display of ultimate powers.

The female lead's clear-headedness is the sole reason I keep watching. There are too many important people in her life—her master, her senior disciple brother, her companions—yet they leave her one by one. She wants to break the eternal curse and seal at this life. Plus, she doesn’t have reader’s POV how would she know, if the person in front of her is XY or Great Demon. And if it’s the great demon, she might has been killed and her spiritual powers might be absorbed like previous lives.

But I feel many parts of this drama, Qian Xiang, actually reflect reality. Even in real life, love isn't everything. Giving up everything for someone who could hurt the people around you—or even hurt you—at any given moment? If she did that, I'd think the female lead is beyond saving.
Carelessly disregarding the lives of all living beings just for the sake of "love"... honestly, what did the innocent people ever do to deserve that?

On the contrary, a female lead with Jiang Lifei's level of awareness is what a true, strong, big-picture "alpha female lead" looks like.
She might appear weak on the outside, but she is incredibly strong on the inside. So what if her ultimate power moments were given to other characters? So what if her magical powers are weak? Her heart and mind are more resilient and rational than anyone else's.

Literally this! She's so likeable and mentally strong. But if they made her such an important entity, they should…
Ya! It’s a little bit out of context but I like Lu wuyi which is also played by JJY a lot better. Not denying the fact that VOS plots are pretty bad but I think LWY character is better than LF in most parts. She is intelligent like LF but most importantly she is really more powerful than LF for now. She can save her beloved ones and even herself. Again I’m really looking forward to LF character development but idk if I can see her highlight moments in these few episodes left

Oh wait ep 28 is out? I’m trapped at 27 my bad
Let me watch it first but in my opinion, this is her character because starting from 1st episode, she’s kind of “dare to love, dare to hate” person, in Chinese we call “敢爱敢恨” and in ep 25 she told Luocha that she doesn’t believe what so called destiny she wants to change the so-called destiny so I believe she’s still in her character till now as Xiao Bang chui. But hey I haven’t watched the newest episode so my opinion might be different on some points.
But one thing I’m gonna vent is that the plot is getting more conflicted in these latest episodes and I really wanna tear those editors and directors apart now

As a massive heroine-stan , to be completely honest, I am so done with this. What on earth are the screenwriters and directors even doing? Is it really that hard to give the female lead a proper, badass high-light moment?
Lifei is either getting injured or on her way to getting injured; she’s either trapped or on her way to getting trapped.
I’ve commented before about how much I absolutely adore her character design: she is 1) completely immune to emotional manipulation, 2) refuses to be guilt-tripped, 3) stays incredibly level-headed, 4) has both high IQ and EQ, 5) possesses rock-solid morals, and 6) is both deeply grateful and righteous.
When she gets backstabbed, she doesn't just hand out easy forgiveness. The moment she realizes someone is trying to use her, she cuts ties and leaves without looking back. Even when she’s told to sacrifice her own life to save others, she completely dodges the moral kidnapping and counter-gaslights them instead.
Seriously, Li Fei is top-tier in everything—except her combat power! Almost every single time she’s in danger, the male lead has to come to her rescue. Sure, even when she was captured by Elder Xuancui, she still managed to outsmart and suppress Qin, and she casually exposed Xuancui's evil plot to the whole world during the public trial. But these intellectual high-light moments are just not enough!
She is literally the Fruit of Jianmu; shouldn't she be unlocking her ultimate power and obliterating all the villains by now?
With only a few episodes left before the grand finale, I am literally losing my patience. Is the female lead really going to stay this weak and vulnerable until the very end?

what are these comments 😭 do you expect lifei to just forgive him?? yes he was possessed but their conflict…
That’s what I want to say!!! FL doesn’t have an outsider’s perspective like us who are watching the show knowing everything. She can only believe what is happening in front of her. Plus ML never told her anything he’s planning including the plan that he wants to break her seal. Lifei asked him multiple time to let her know.
She also told him not to act himself and they can face problems together. But what? ML always did things in his own and don’t let anyone besides him know. Others said then why she believe TZ and even Qin. Man, we’re watching the show, we know everything what’s happening inside the show but what about people in the show? They don’t have this POV, FL doesn’t have this POV.
Yet again, when she knew Qin doesn’t have good intentions to her, she doesn’t believe him anymore. Just like that, XY betrayed her and tried to kill her once, so at the first time she tried to break up with him but she’s so in love with him so even if she’s not fully forgiving him but she’s still tried to believe him when XY tried to save her many times. You can see it clearly in the show.

And another thing is she doesn’t know her senior sister is killed by third person and not XY. At that time there’s only LF and XY so she misunderstood that XY killed her senior sister. And in her POV, XY becomes less control and killing innocent people so I think that might be the suitable reason for her to not forgiving XY.
People who blaming and hating FL need to understand this one point that they don’t have outsider’s POV. I wanna disclaim that I’m not hating ML but just really can’t sit back and watch everyone blaming FL.

Here are my thoughts on this drama so far.
As a massive heroine-stan, this show has been an absolute blast to watch! Even though it’s not labeled as a typical "female-centric" drama, the female lead’s actions, words, and choices give off major boss-lady energy. It completely breaks away from those tired old Xianxia tropes. She is incredibly realistic, completely immune to guilt-trips and gaslighting, and has rock-solid morals. She knows how to show gratitude but also stands firmly for justice. Honestly, it’s been ages since we’ve had a Xianxia female lead with this level of clarity and sanity. I don't mean to shade other Xianxia heroines, but Jiang Lifei is just built different. She doesn't just instantly forgive the male lead just because he "had his reasons" or played the pity card. A betrayal is a betrayal, a lie is a lie, and trust isn't something you just hand back easily. This is literally how a normal person would react! Like, sure, she gets that he wants to save his older brother, but since when does that give him the right to sacrifice an innocent person’s (Riyan's) life in a "one life for another" trade? Especially when Riyan actually saved their lives before. That's just fundamentally wrong.
Another thing I absolutely love about her is that she actually has a mouth and uses it! Seriously, in most dramas, the leads refuse to communicate, causing endless misunderstandings that make the audience lose their minds. But whenever Lifei has an issue, she confronts people directly to get things straight. She’s straightforward, doesn’t play mind games, and claps back on the spot. No internal conflict, no self-blame—if something is unfair, she will call it out right then and there. Her character writing is just top-tier. Every line out of her mouth is an absolute mic-drop quote:

"I know you want to save your family, your brother. And while I do sympathize with you, I am not going to help you. Everyone is busy; handle your own business yourself."

"Compensate me? If I had actually been killed by you, what were you going to do—cry at my grave?"

I am so obsessed with Jiang Lifei!!! Ju Jingyi completely brought this character to life. Honestly, she has so many more green flags, but I’ll talk about them as I keep watching. Haha! 😁

I watched this drama because of Ju Jingyi.
At first, I didn’t have high expectations, because I’d seen many of her previous dramas and didn’t really like her acting that much. But the set photos and previews all said her acting was great this time, and the director even said, “You’ll see a Ju Jingyi you’ve never seen before,” so I decided to give it a try.

However, I fell in love with the character Lu Wuyi starting from the very first episode.
What shocked me the most were Episodes 23 and 24.
Oh my god! Her acting was absolutely explosive.
The immersion was so strong too—the sense of fragility was off the charts. I felt like I was hurting and exhausted right along with her.

And her eyes! They were so expressive!
This is what people mean by “the light in the eyes is gone.”
Seriously, at the very beginning, she went in with hope—her eyes were bright and full of hope.
But as she grew weaker and faced failure after failure, her gaze shifted from determination to the despair of someone who has lost the will to live.

Every time she traveled back in time, it caused tremendous harm to her body. She became physically numb,
yet you could still see her resolve and obsession in her eyes.
Her acting was seriously so good.

To save her beloved sister, Ji Ling, and everyone else,
she endured so much pain. If it were me, I would have given up long ago.
But Lu Wuyi, this brave and pitiful little fox, never gave up. How noble she was 😭

Her eyes held unwillingness, heartache, courage, resolve, despair, and defiance against fate—
but never self-pity.

She never saw herself as a victim. She didn’t wallow in misery just because she failed again and again.
Instead, she grew stronger through struggle.
Her bravery was the kind that kept fighting upward.
Beyond her sincere love for the person she cared about,
as a puppet, she also showed disdain for this world.
She had this fierce spirit of “I will rise” and “I refuse to accept my fate.”

Her birth and her feelings were all created for her.
Even when she was doubted—by her sister, by her loved one—she never felt sorry for herself.

Given her life from the moment she was born, she should have been deeply insecure.
But when doubted, she didn’t use weakness to seek comfort,
nor did she use her suffering to show off or gain sympathy.
Instead, she understood the reasons why people doubted her, and swallowed her own sadness alone.

She is the only character in the show with no original cause,
yet she bore all the consequences!
I honestly cried so hard.
I don’t even have the words to describe how sorry I feel for her, or how shocked I am by her acting.

Really! JJY has improved a lot. I’m really proud of her! 😭😭

Title Love in the Clouds Spoiler
I come from a place where I try to understand Ming Yi for not telling Ji Bo Zai about her identity and the poison.…
Idk if you’ve already read this cuz I also commented and wrote a review here before
You have almost the same thought as mine. My understandings of Mingyi’s character as below:
many people saying FL unnecessarily keeps a secret to ML and people complaining why she didn’t just ask him to give her the antidote. I just wanna say you guys don’t understand Mingyi’s character completely. She was raised in an environment where she was forced to be a useful person to someone and getting no care or love from her parents or family or anyone. So when it comes to the time, when she need to tell ML to give her the antidote, she was confused if it was the real love. And even if ML really love her, it’s really hard to tell him straight to give her an antidote. It’s also explained by FL in the series too, ML’s master made him take an oath not to let the antidote appear in the world nor to give anyone. Mingyi didn’t want him to break that just because she’s his beloved person. That’s what the character Mingyi is. (Also this might be unnecessary but Mingyi said that Mingxian has pride that he don’t want his fated enemy to see the weak point at all.) Mingyi is willing to give her life just for ML to not feel uncomfortable choosing between his master and her. But even then, if she really need the antidote, if she really have to stay alive, the bad person must be herself, not the ML who have to break an oath to protect the antidote like his master claimed. (I really really really like this character setting. It just make FL seems more internally strong.)
Also, there was a part when ML told FL about his master and an oath, and also told her that she’s not like any other people who are only here just for the antidote. And then Mingyi said what if she’s same with other people, and ML answered he believed in her. You say, how should Mingyi react to his words? Cuz he said right through her. (Idk if i was in Mingyi’s shoes, I dont think I can tell him the truth either cuz it just feel so helpless when someone you really love or care about believe in you that much and you have to betrayed his love and belief just to make sure you can stay alive) It’s just that much helpless/hopeless for Mingyi to choose between him and her life. (Poor Mingyi T_T) Even when she saw ML destroyed the antidote in front of her, and her master complaining about she said that “ that’s his belonging after all, there is no way they can complain about just because he doesn’t want to give her. (Such a positive-minded and broad-minded girl I’m not crying ahhhh 😭😭😭)

I also see the same few people talk bad about FL and pity ML when ML chose to keep quiet about his injury and wanted to break up with FL. This is the same situation as early part Mingyi but the difference is now that they understand each other and all misunderstandings were clear also the most important thing is that FL didn’t have any oath or anything to obey, unlike ML’s situation.
Of course, I don’t want to see both of them getting hurt and pity both of them but I mean, this is the unnecessary thing most people talking about FL. And just for you to know, when FL is being poisoned, the leaf petal on her hands are being used mostly to save other or even ML, NOT ONE OF THE PETALS ARE USED FOR HERSELF. This is where FL needs to be recognized by some people saying she’s not a good FL.

I concur. Great review and analysis These ppl want these characters to be perfect in everything Those in glass…
Definitely! Both ML and FL did nothing wrong when they don’t have each other’s POV unlike us watching them on third person POV
