😂 as for me, I think it’s because I know Cdramas ALWAYS ends with the bad guys getting punished so I don’t feel mad at all. And I love Zhang Songwen so it’s a joy watching his acting 😂 So far I only felt really emotional & pissed when papa sacrificed himself & when everyone especially GYZ’s sis shunned & didn’t trust GYZ.

I enjoyed every bit of Ep 24. The richness of his facial expressions should be used as teaching material for acting class 🤣 He also said on his Weibo when asked why he shot at her repeatedly, he said it’s coz Japanese don’t trust them. When there’s an execution by firing the Japs would shoot again after to ensure death. So he did it himself. I believe in his mind, it’s a better death for her than letting the Japs shoot her again after death.

When she said men needs alcohol but women don’t. So strong.

The one who made up story is Cell 8. He’s the source of the betrayal. Everyone else got played with GYZ and family getting the worst of it. Eagle paid the price with death. He didn’t had it better & I don’t think when there’s a war going on and your country is occupied, your comrades are dying, you’d create problems just to get a girl 🙄.

Today’s episodes are great. The more ZZF survives, the more it eats him inside. Probably in the end, he would ask what’s his survival worth & what is it for. Emptiness will answer him.

I watched Ep 23 & 24. He tried to stop her from going into the Willow Garden many times but she insisted. She knew what’s the worst case scenario which is to fall under Japanese’s hands yet she still chose to go. What could he do? He tried to think of ways to save her but it’s futile so the best thing he could do to lessen her suffering was to let her know how much she meant to him in words that only they understood & killed her quickly himself so she wouldn’t have to be in pain longer. And she was aware & understood him all throughout. ZZF’s motivation & characteristics are very different from Cell 8.

I’m interested in the history of that time but I couldn’t find much details on him. He’s definitely extraordinary to survive through all those years.

He was wrong and he admitted it. You gotta remember that they’re all living in dangerous times that one mistake could cause your life. He didn’t know who GYZ was. You and I know coz we’re watching the drama abt him. He didn’t know what happened & he knew HZP. Naturally he would suspect someone he doesn’t know rather than his friend. I was mad at him too but I wouldn’t say he’s a bad person.

Omg Ep 24 is gonna be intense.
