I think it's because wheat in Chinese is 麦 which is the homophone of 卖(meaning 'to sell'). When they wish a movie or show sells well, they usually gift a bouquet of wheat lol

No idea why but this director’s work is Meteor Garden. They got an idol romance director to direct a tomb-raiding drama and this is the result 😩😩😩

I like that this series’ characters are more consistent and they’re all badass. Even Pangzi can fight well when it mattered and they have a deep knowledge of fengshui and archaeology which is convincing for a tomb raider.

It’s not bad but it really is the weakest among the other CitT series. I blame the director.

I politely disagree. I think Liu Yuning is a good cast as Ning Yuanzhou. He might not be the only one who could be NYZ but he’s doing a damn fine job as NYZ. Better than many trained actors imo.

Am I the only one who after watching Ep 18 feels that LTG is gonna be a dangerous threat to NYZ & the delegation? If he doesn’t get his shifu, I feel that he’s the type who will destroy his enemies no matter what. I don’t feel that he’s a cute crybaby at all. All I’m getting is red alert, red alert! 🫣
