Worth-watching but you gotta have some patience. I like it from the beginning but the story really picks up from Ep 14 onwards and keeps getting better.

Chipmunk 🤣 I like Ep 19! It’s such a mess and so chaotic and I’m here shouting “Oooh the plot twist! Funnnn!” I don’t think Zhixie is dead though.

I think Yan’s angry & bitter but he’s not evil nor does he plan to join Yimei’s cause. He’s just pretending to be on Yimei’s side I THINK, in order to find a solution to the twin curse in the Qi family. Abt the dragon 🤣 I noticed that the cgi is not consistent in this drama. Some parts were done well while some looked like some cheap production.

Yeah but I don’t get this actor. His acting is just so…expressionless. I’m starting to get why Yimei’s so wooden(coz she really dgaf abt anyone & anything aside from her goal) but daddy didn’t have to be like that. It made me so detach from feeling anything for him when he was betrayed by his own shifu & sacrificed to protect the ppl. This role could’ve been so much better 😪 sorry for the rant.

I think she’s been lonely for far too long and I won’t be surprised if she’s trying to revive him out of love or pining for him, although I’d also be disappointed if it’s just coz of love 😂 I started to understand there might be a reason for her wooden acting. Yimei just dgaf abt anything.

I agree. I’m willing to look past some funny cgi and cheapo-looking demons for the wonderful plot twists and developments. I felt like I was going on a thrill ride.

Thanks for explaining a bit about the actor for Ji Chang. I was wondering why he spoke like that and why they picked him for the role when there are many other good veteran actors who could articulate better. Makes me respect Li Xuejian more and wanna read more abt him.

Yes the plot is moving very fast and exciting now. The Qi family is related to the crane somehow. I’ve seen the crane statues in the hall somewhere and Huzi’s trinket for QXX is a crane apparently. And the demon king is a crane…I think they are related.

Ack! I didn’t watch it coz I thought there are no new eps today 😓 Ok nvm tomorrow I have 4 eps to watch.

Watch it after TaC. Huzi and the ML in IAN are quite similar.

Yeah it feels like the director got bored of the drama and just wanna be done with it 😅 I mean generally it’s a HE but it could’ve been so much more.

No it didn’t mention imprisoned for life but even if it’s that, it’s not enough punishment for her imo.

-Yimei Fairy is either trying to resurrect the Demon King or her master I think.
-The Demon King is a crane. Is Qi Xiaoxuan or the Qi family related to the Demon King?
-IF yes, then maybe the Demon King was also their ancestor and that means there’s also a good twin of the Demon King…?

Last note: I’m loving Yan 🤣 but I want him to like Huzi and gang too. I can’t relate to ppl saying this drama is boring. I find it so exciting 🤔

I understand about the censorship but I think why it made us think there’s some connection to Chen Duling’s character with our main leads is because of what the old man said about her.

Yeah they should’ve killed her then bring her back to life with that lil string and flick it from time to time for fun.
