I finished the drama and…the ending was so anti-climactic 😪. I expected more from Jiangzhan. His character showed so much potential and they didn’t even give him a proper dialogue with Liuxi in the end. I knew he’d die but the way he went out was so pointless. I wished they’d show Gaoshen & Dingliu’s ending better than some illustrated scenes. SO unsatisfied with Longzhi’s ending. That’s it for her?? After all that she did?? 😪 Having said all that, it was still good to watch Nini, Baiyu, the lovely roosters & the germinus.

She uses a spear and she’s cool as a mint 😂

Yeah baffles me how daddy just let her rule and every other older leaders of the Feather Guards & (what’s that snake woman tribe again?) are ok with her telling them what to do.

What hurts the drama most I think is the terrible airing schedule. Many of us don’t watch just one drama and the huge gap between episodes really caused me to lose focus on the plot and even forget what happened in the last episode after each long gap.

Lowkey sad that the rating for this drama is just 7.8. It should be 8 at least. It’s rare that Cdramaland produces such a thought-provoking, serious drama about women and it should be encouraged and supported more.

Yeah I felt the same. Also it wasn’t a good alt ending for Shen Mu either, being the Robin Hood and always on the run. They could’ve matched him with Rulan instead.

Yup but the girls were ordinary young girls from different backgrounds. They weren’t mature enough like Sanniang who had been exposed to men. I believe in society back then, young girls wouldn’t have many male friends. So they’re pretty naive when it comes to the opposite sex. Let alone corruption and power plays.
