Exactly! I like the symbolism that the angel represents for them. Yes, his mind is saying that he hates this man, but his heart (& another body part) is subconsciously choosing Koh over and over again. Almost like habit now. That realization scene was one of my favorite from that episode! I find the gesture moving on Jira's part. It shows that he has some empathy.
I cannot find it in my heart to feel sorry for Tao, but I'm glad that he finally came around.

I think so, too, but I don't trust him at all where Koh is concerned. I know later on he's going to be in competition with Koh for Jira's heart, but he's so icky right now. I don't care how hot he is, everytime he's on screen, I go yuck! Goes to show that Dew is doing a great job.

Maybe it's me, but I get the feeling that Jade was pretending to be drunk. His "drunk" behaved like strategy. He seemed loose where it helped, lucid where it mattered. He used drunkenness as a camouflage to hit on Kamin.
And that scene when Jade was questioning Kamin's solo work ethics, only for it to escalate to,
"It depends on whether it's a question or an invitation."
Oh, Jade thought he was being a smooth criminal! 🤣 He was teasing Kamin, as if to dare, "How close can I get before you stop me?" But all I could think about in that moment is how dare Jade invades Kamin's immaculate space!

The first episode established tone, introduced a crowd suspect pool and oversold the JoongDunk dynamic. Yes, oversold, because my boy Jade couldn't wait to be up in Kamin's space. That captain felt sparks and all the electricity nonsense associated with "first love" when he first saw how handsome the driver was... Not knowing that they were going to be working together so soon. 🤣 It's tired, it's overdone, but here, it just slots into place. 🧩 And I dig it!
LIVING for Dunk in this. LIVING and LOVING! He's like a stiff necked, strict, serious, and all that professional jazz lieutenant. It almost feels like he's from another century. He moves like an elegant vampire model. 🤪 He's like ... controlled stillness in motion.
