That was a great KO! And just like that, the Sunrise turned into a Sunset! ๐ฅ
Sky and Prim were adorable! I peep Lipsync momentarily turning into 'the shipper' during that moment when Rung clung to Sunrise. I see you, Piploy. ๐คฃ
It was fun. It was silly. It was campy. And now I have this ridiculous urge to watch Pakin so I'm going to dig up one of his shows or watch YT clips of him.
Baikhawโs pain becomes a ghost that wears Tulipโs face, but what is that pain? What caused Baikhaw to trip like that? I tried exploring other avenues, but I keep coming back to the sister theory.
All I know is right now, Baikhaw is mentally unhinged and it looks like Tao could get served next.
I'm not rooting for Baikhaw, but, dang, give Pat ALL of the awards! The woman is brilliant at what she does. I'm still imagining her alongside THE one and only Gun Atthaphan in a series. They'd be perfect as a pair! ๐
Ice! My baby! Just let me hug you and smother you with love and never let you go!
Every week, they just keep adding trauma to Ice. Just when I thought, hey, today's the day, my boy Ice is going to snatch a bit of happiness, here comes trauma wrapping it's dirty bony fingers around his elegant throat. ๐
Same with me. Let's return for another episode and see if we'll stick around?
Awesome then! I'm actually watching this for Boun. I keep following him from series to series for whatever reason. ๐คฃ I guess the confusion is what they wanted us to feel after the first episode and it was certainly achieved. It'd keep us hunger for more where the mystery is concerned.
Iโm definitely sticking with Melody of Secrets even though the first episode didnโt quite click for me yet…
"He's a living poem with missing stanzas."
I love this! I was just told that his name translates to melody, song, or musical piece and then I recall the title of the show, the violin, and was like "Oh!" ๐คฃ It's yet to resonate with me, too, but Boun is in this, so I'll be back for second servings next week.
The first episode was... I need to let it marinate a bit more before I could give a proper assessment. The mystery and intrigue is there, but it didn't resonate with me (as yet).
Mile looks like a man who plays guitar softly, but could also ruin your life if you ask nicely. He seems too possessive of Pleng, as if he secretly harbors a crush on Pleng. With Tankhun back in the picture, Mile is going all out for blood.
The story just hasn't plucked the right string yet to make the room vibrate. That's just my first take. I know others are going to feel different, so I look forward to reading your comments. ๐
After just two episodes, this is what I see the "triangle" as: a one-sided attraction wrapped in timing and politeness.
- Pheem looks at Jira the way someone looks at a possibility theyโre trying not to scare away.
- Jira's reaction towards Pheem are mild. He doesn't light up like New Year's night fireworks.
- But when Koh enters the frame? Jira's entire frequency shifts and his world is off balance. Pheem's facade that he craftily built is going to collapse. He will become the manipulative friend and thirst monster.
So the dynamic becomes:
Pheem โ Jira (genuine? interest, quiet yearning, maybe even a little possessive)
Jira โ Pheem (kindness without spark, gratitude without desire)
The person who wants Jira isn't the one who wakes his soul up. There's a soft sensuality lurking about somewhere in there.
When Jira finally comes to know about Koh and Pheem's friendship, it's going to get even messier. Pheem is going to try his hardest to win against Koh; he has that quiet panic of someone who realizes theyโre losing a race they didnโt know they were running.
This triangle is going to hurt someone, and the fuse has already been lit.
THANK YOU, EVERYONE for your kind accomodations! I'll try my best to not have runaway thoughts next episode or if I do, I'll try to shorten them even more before posting. ๐
So, my faves in this order so far:
1. Not My Father
2. Diva Deva Meta
3. Fist Foot Fusion

I love THEE!!
I LOVE THEE!!!!
And that's the tea!
I need this reminder printed on a t-shirt asap!

Yes, I agree with everything you said! ๐
