And what was more impressive is this drama wasn't even promoted by Youku (because it was only a B-level drama & Joseph Zeng signing to Youku competitor iQiyi). Only relied on people's recommendations.

Nope. Joseph is agency-free. Liang Jie is from Hua Ce (who produces this drama).

Update : Now Joseph has been rumored to sign with iQiyi, but not officially announced yet.

It's said by SMZ (after BCF was dead) that BCF's life was full of lies. All of his life he used a lot of aliases. Bai Jiyoung, Bai Choufei, Bai Gaotang, etc. You can see in that prison that turned him evil he even confused by his real identity.

I agree with you that the cast in this drama, especially the supporting role, is acted really well, is so rare now. I think it is one of the plus of this drama.

And btw, I always love your 2 cents.
