This episodes let us realize that even the Finest Gentry Mr. YU who closed his heart for any romance harbors secret feelings for dear Bai Fengxi. All lead male character in this story seem to have an ambition they want to fulfill no matter what. But not every man will choose his heart over ambition, we yet to see who will choose BF over their goal and ambition. So far, BF has 3 powerful men interested in her.

I have to commend the amazing talent of the supporting casts here especially Rusong the character who is the chief advisor of Prince Xi aka Hei Fengxi. The story is written wherein he is willing to kill his own son for failing to protect the 2nd prince. I shed tears during that scene. Bai Fengxi is showing hints of her affection towards Hei Fengxi, even exhibited a slight jealousy. This series is hetting better and better. I love that the story was written jn a way that shows sibling rivalry but as bad as it is, 3rd prince showed that he never thought of killing his own brother. I like that the writer depicted humanity and heart on the 3rd prince. Its like a real family that may fight fiercely with each other but always have part of their heart for each other.Theres a slight blooper here if I am not mistaken: their father gave 1st prince 7 days to find 2nd prince or the culprit but during the scene wherein 1st prince was at the dock giving instructions for more boat to search for 2nd prince, the aid responded with "it's been 10 days since he has been missing."

This episode showed awesome fighting choreography. Zhao Lusi worked hard. Her character not only depicts beuty and wit but also fieceness when necessary. I love her overall character. This episode ended with a glimpse of Hei Fengxi being jealous for the first time. Hehe its cute.

In this episode BF meets and duels with the future = Prince Huang. (This is a hint). Han Pu is too adorable in this episode too. The finest Gentry is introduced highlighting his wit, charm and capabilities. He is so handsome like the devil. (Another hint)

Nothing moves or frazzles Hei Fengxi except this time when he finally had a closer look at Bei Gengxi. He was lost and stunned by her beauty which caught him off guard.

This started with Bai Fengxi mourning Yan Yuanhzi's death and venting her anger towards Hei Fengxi for idly standing by and not helping them during the confrontation with other sect.A clan death being blamed on BF caused her to work with HF and adopting the only survivor of the clan.Seriously awesome camera shots and angles used so far. Love the wardobes too. Attention to details by the production is obvious. Loving this series.

I have watched this series 9 tines and still, as if I am watching it for the first time. 1st episode is already action packed. The bickering between the Fengxis is cute. Zhao Lusi and Yang Yang has tremendous chemistry that can't be denied. Sadly, a nice and handsome character died in this episode.Truly the best 1st episode in a series I have watched.

I am only in episode 12 but I am so sick of the female lead saying "My Lord" in every sentence she utters. For someone so smart and witty, the female lead makes a lot of stupid choices that risk her career that shes working so hard for, and her life. Can someone please write a story that depicts a real smart and strong woman who doesnt make stupid choices and decisions because they are smart and focused on their goal?

I cancekled YOUKU subscription due to the practice of javjng paying members pay again for the last few episodes of a series and here comes iQIYI doing the same. It is frustrating that tbey cant just raise the membership fee rather than charging additional just to see the last episodes. Guess viewers like me might resort to pirated version to watch last 5 episodes

I am exhausted and losing interest by this episode. 7 episodes of trying to get out of the city, being mean to the Beast Kjng, not establising any solid foundation for a relationship, and exhausting and chaotic plans that doesn't make sense. The story should have a solid ground for the plot by now but all we viewers got is a round and round effort to get out of the city. The production is good, love the wardrobes, story plot seems good if not being prolonged senselessly like this.

Unable to rate this fairly since Youku has first episodes posted with no sub for paid subscriber. Will revisit after sub is added. So far, wardrobe looks magnificent.

I was irritated with Youku app when i came across this show. I do t know what got into me to watch the first episode. Normally, 15 minutes through i will drop genre i dont typically watch. This is a surprise, i got interested so i came to MDL to checknout info on the show and artists. Episode one ended with that mysterious black caped man and after reading the casts here, it revealed who it is. You could have kept it mysterious ? At any rate, I will proceed to episode 2. So far, it got me interested. The character of that new guy Guo is irritating by the way, overacting in my opinion reason for the minus in rating for episode 1.

This series is getting better. Im so excited its in Netflix now. Sadly, the episodes released kn netflix is not as advance as in Youku. I have kne thing im curious about in this episode tjo, whats the ¥50 JIAXU gave to Zhi. I dont get why he needed to give her money.
