I loved in episode 13 how it subverted expectations by having the ML be a reasonable person who thinks through things. It also shows how much he's grown! Episode 2 him wouldn't have been able to think logically about anything even resembling lying or betrayal.

I finally started and the moment I lost it for the first time was when he showed the prostitute the picture of Rose from Titanic. This weirdo actually went "I want to draw you like one of my French girls." I'm 18 minutes into episode 1 and these show makers really did forget to write a plot for this thing. 🤣

I know we are in uncharted waters with the first live action omegaverse series but do y'all think they'll mention betas and omegas or just keep it to alphas? I can see the logic for trying to not introduce too many ABO elements into it.

In episode 19 why the heck did the FL trust anonymous and open that box after she had just handed her over to be tortured recently. Did she not know the box was from her? Even so why did they have such a friendly conversation? ...please no spoilers from later episodes

Maybe I'm crazy but I don't see the ending as a definitive sad ending. It actually feels pretty hopeful to me. I think it wouldn't have fit with the tone of the film to have a happy reunion as the last scene. It would tie things up too neatly in a bow for a couple that's very tumultuous. But I absolutely believe Imagase returns sometime after the film is over (not because of the manga but because of what we've seen in the movie).

I think it's funny that the director of the Japanese project is depicted as pervy for staring at the actors during the kiss scenes, and yet the director of this actual drama is depicting a couple 99% made of semi-explicit sex scenes. You can't have it both ways lol.

I'm definitely keeping the country's context in mind. S Korea is early in it's LGBT representation journey on television, and could still be in the realm "of any representation is good representation". But even within the few examples in mainstream dramas I have felt spoiled though, like Life is Beautiful or Prison Playbook. I feel like they are entering the stage where we should be able to hope for more and better. I agree about holding my judgement until the whole drama is over though, but his glare at the FL at the end didn't feel promising.
