Okayish dramayeah, much romanceno love trianglesYeah,Happy ending
Im not gonna comment on the real life situations. But in the context of a drama where the characters exhibit romantic feelings and jealousy, even if it's portrayed without intense rivalry or hurt feelings, it can still be considered a traditional love triangle. The key factor here is that there are romantic tensions and emotions involved among the three characters, and the drama highlights their romantic entanglements. So, in the context of the drama's storytelling, it would indeed be classified as a traditional love triangle.

The initial question was whether there are any love triangles in the drama. It doesn't matter whether the male leads are green flags or not; as long as two people are interested in the same person, it qualifies as a love triangle.

How is it? Much romance? Any love triangles? Happy ending?
It was such an amazing drama, packed with romance! There's a love triangle between the ML, FML, and SML, but as the story unfolds, it becomes less of a concern. There are two more love triangles involving the ML, but they have limited screen time and don't overshadow the drama. It has a super satisfying happy ending. Every character's storyline gets neatly wrapped up, so you won't have any lingering questions. Don't hesitate to give it a shot, regardless of the reviews. Sometimes, the best dramas have the most questionable reviews.

I absolutely adored the entire series from start to finish! The romance part felt a bit different after leads became a couple, but it wasn't a big deal at all. Overall, I loved the plot, how the characters developed over the time, and the ending. You know, many K-dramas rush their endings, and we complain about that, but now that they took their time to give each character a proper wrap-up, some people call it draggy. It's tough to please everyone!
Personally, I'm incredibly thankful to the directors and writers for choosing to give us a detailed and unhurried ending that we could savor. Having that closure made saying goodbye to this fantastic drama a bit easier. I'm really going to miss it, and I have no idea how I'll survive Mondays without it! đŸ„ș

Wait. You watched it? I am guessing that SML was the villian in the 2nd life?
No he was never a villain. Neither in 2nd life nor the 1st life. But ML is the reason why they died in their 1st life so in my opinion he was the villain in 1st life. SML and FML belongs to each other. But somehow FML chooses ML in the end.

I think he already was clear to her she is wavering he just doesn't know for sure that he is in love since he…
I don’t believe his explanation was clear enough to end the relationship. Sure, he mentioned being swayed by FML, but that’s about it. The topic wasn’t even brought up by him; he had to clarify himself after being caught with all those pictures. He never explicitly stated that he wants to break up or take a break due to his feelings for another woman, whether it’s love or just a temporary crush. What’s fair is for him to be straightforward and either end the current relationship or at least try to explain to his girlfriend why he can’t continue with her. But he didn’t do any of that; he simply explained himself to get out of the situation. When SFML suggested that these things can happen in long-term relationships or encouraged him to put an end to those feelings, he didn’t utter a word. I don’t think this behavior is clear enough for his girlfriend to end the relationship. It felt like he admitted to being momentarily swayed but is now ready to move past those feelings and commit to his relationship with SFML. Obviously, she won’t end it that way, especially since she’s so infatuated with him.

Not a fan of old cow eat young grass... Usually it is not Love. It is a deal.
Agree. It's little creepy given the guy is around the same age as her son. I'd be more comfortable with their relationship if there was a smaller age gap, and especially if he wasn't friends with Shin Yu.

I dont get it,the SFL is sleeping with someone else but still insisting on marrying the ML? What all that.
I think she has some other/hidden intentions which is not clear at this point but will be explained later.

I’m guessing the only reason Shin Yu would break up with his girlfriend is if he found out she’s cheating. I mean, they can’t just have him break up over his feelings for the FML, right? That would make both ML and FML look bad, and KDramas don’t do that. So, the only way they can date is if he catches his girlfriend cheating. That’s probably why they made her character a cheater – to make what ML does seem less bad. If she were an honest and loyal girlfriend, viewers might not be okay with what he does with FML. So, yeah, it might take forever for the leads to start dating if this is the case.

Title Destined with You Spoiler
I’ve never felt so restless waiting for a drama couple to start dating like this before. I was practically yelling, ‘Just date already!’ in my head. Shin Yu seriously needs to sort out his feelings and end things with his girlfriend soon because I'm tired of seeing them pushing away each other. No matter how long he's been with SFML, if he's in love with someone else, that relationship should end.
And why is he waiting for FML to confess first? It’s frustrating. Hong Ju can't express her feelings because of his girlfriend, and it's a total mess. I hope they figure this out soon. Today's episode dragged a bit with the sudden stalker and curse storyline. I was hoping for some closure in their “ love game” today but didn’t get it. Can’t wait for next week!

Did anyone else notice that the red hands stopped appearing once she cast the spell? If the spells aren’t working, why did it cease right after the ritual? I've been already convinced that ML genuinely has feelings for FML , unrelated to the love spell. But it’s intriguing why only one spell affected him while others didn’t. My theory is either he believed in that spell so much that the illusions stopped, or as the shaman lady mentioned , the red hands belong to FML, and when he falls in love with her, they simply vanish. Thoughts? đŸ€”

Maybe.. But as I've already said in the above comment i didn't watch the original version because I couldn't get myself to watch it. I tried twice before and after the korean version was aired but i couldn't watch any longer than the first episode. So I was only talking about the version I watched without a comparison. I loved and enjoyed every bit of this version and just wanted share that with the community.

I tried twice to watch Taiwanese version.. Once before this korean series was aired and once after I finished watching Korean version but I'm sorry to say I still like this version better because I really couldn't get myself to watch the Taiwanese version any longer than the first episode. Then again everyone has their own preferences so I guess no one should say which one's better than the other. There's no comparison for me. I like this version and I thoroughly enjoyed it that's all.

This drama taught me not to blindly trust reviews or others' opinions. I almost skipped it based on some negative comments, which claimed it was confusing and a poor adaptation of the Taiwanese version. However, after watching it, I realized how mistaken those views were. If they didn't enjoy it, they simply missed the brilliance of the concept. If you pay close attention, it's crystal clear. The plot is outstanding, among the best I've seen in a drama. I cherished every moment, especially the stellar performances by the actors. This drama deserves all the praise it gets. To those hesitating due to bad reviews, ignore them and give it a try. Watch until the end, stay attentive, and it will all fall into place. It excels in every aspect.

To be honest I cannot really get into the romantic scenes of the male lead and the female lead due to the love…
This is so true.. I really want that spell to break. I think his feelings are genuine and he always had feelings for her. But he's in denial and fooling himself with this whole love spell thing. That spell has to break for him to realize his own feelings. I was really happy when she did that disaster spell because I thought it'd make ML believe that the spell is broken. So sad it was failed. I also feel kinda bad whenever they have romantic moments. But they're funny so I still watch them anyway.

I’m totally hooked on this drama, even though I’m not a fan of FML’s personality. The storyline has me eagerly anticipating each new episode without even realizing it. But there are a couple of things that didn’t quite meet my expectations.

Firstly, I really wanted that “spell” to break so that ML could genuinely realize his feelings for her. He needs to believe the spell is broken to admit it. I was so disappointed when it failed.

Secondly, the whole “pretty vs. Not pretty” thing in kdramas is confusing. I’ve been watching them for over a decade, and I still struggle with it. FML is considered “average looking,” while SFML is deemed “too pretty.” To me, they both look equally pretty, except for how they dress. It bothered me when the ML said she was nothing compared to SFML.

Lastly, FML’s personality still annoys me, but I’m too curious about the storyline to let it bother me for now.

Despite all this, it’s a great drama. I love the plot and Rowoon’s acting. I rarely cry in dramas, but the way he expressed his emotions while drunk moved me to tears. He’s fantastic.

It's overused but then we should also look into the circumstances she grew up in and the cultural aspect. Being…
I understand the importance of being nice, but there's a difference between being genuinely kind and being overly nice. Being nice and kind to the people who deserve that kindness is also very important. Many cultures promote kindness, and I totally agree with that notion. However, being so nice that you can't stand up for yourself in unfair situations might not align with the true spirit of kindness. Strength, confidence, and self-defense skills aren't in conflict with being nice. You can be both strong and kind simultaneously; I've seen FMLs who embody both qualities.

The fact that she spent a long time relying solely on herself might indeed be a key reason for her to have strength to protect herself. You should understand that being overly nice or lacking common sense is different from craving love. Having a crush on someone who treats you well is natural, and being kind and tolerant is commendable. However, in her case, misinterpreting only two acts of kindness as love and confessing her feelings after only a month, without substantial communication, seems rushed. Additionally, when her co-workers treated her poorly, she was overly accommodating, even apologizing without defending herself. Similarly, when the ML misunderstood her and said hurtful things, she didn't even stand up for herself.

These behaviors can't be solely justified by her circumstances. If anything, her experiences should have contributed to a stronger character rather than passive responses.
