This! ngl tired of people dismissing a drama just because it lacks romance. A story shouldn’t be reduced to that one element, especially when it may excel in plot, character development, or overall storytelling. It’s frustrating to see dramas with weak or poorly written plots being praised simply because they include romance as if that automatically makes them better. In the end i understand that everyone has different tastes, but reducing the value of a drama to its romantic content feels very limiting..next

Beautiful,emotional..Somehow, A'li seeing the Lishan family again felt realistic to me. Honestly when someone is dealing with a serious mental health condition and that much trauma, it is not something that can just be cured easily. it didn’t pretend that everything could be neatly fixed

haven’t finished ep 37 yet, but the empress invited a'li to stay at the palace is not out of goodwill. Honestly, she’s been getting on my nerves since the very beginning.

i don’t think she had bad intentions, especially considering Yeli’s past. She was simply being tactless, and in a way, she had a point: if something happened to Mxy, Yeli would be left alone, whereas she has nothing to lose since she already has a son. I didn’t see where she was praying so that Mxy shouldn’t come back, it was just a worst-case scenario hypothesis, so that Yeli would have an heir.. still on ep 37

i know we would have wanted more development for Ye Ying’s character, but emotional dependency is real! she needs time. On the other hand i really like the sisterly bond , at least there’s less animosity now. Anyway time to watch episode 37🔥
