hahah seriously i saw people giving 6 or 5 to this drama i think we didnt watch the same thing
Thatās why iām saying that whether romance is included as a tag or not doesnāt really mean anything, because there are different kinds of.... What people are actually looking for here is intimacy that their labeled as romance and if we look at Unveil Jadewind, even though it didnāt have that romance tag people still downrated it anyway base on that result this whole argument about romance is absurd

i can understand if people downrate a drama lower because of issues with the plot, acting... but using the romance as an argument is something i personally find a bit absurd. The same thing happened when Unveil Jadewind was airing. That said...In the end, every drama will find its own audience,itās impossible to please everyone.

youāve already said everything.. the funny thing is that iām someone who absolutely loves romance and enjoy it in all kinds of dramas whether theyāre C/kdramas, Western, Bollywood, boylove..and more. But in the end, i believe that everyone has their own unique way of perceiving romance.

Romance in a genre mean nothing ,there isnāt just one kind of romance in a drama. It can be soft, passionate tender, or even something that exist mostly through words, glances, nd emotional support rather than physical intimacy. Yet some people judge it purely based on the lack of kissing or intimate scenes, even going as far as complaining that the characters didnāt hug enough. If someone tells me they couldnāt feel the connection through the dialogue, the attention to each other, the tension, the shared vulnerability, and the small gestures, then honestly im speechless...

This! ngl tired of people dismissing a drama just because it lacks romance. A story shouldnāt be reduced to that one element, especially when it may excel in plot, character development, or overall storytelling. Itās frustrating to see dramas with weak or poorly written plots being praised simply because they include romance as if that automatically makes them better. In the end i understand that everyone has different tastes, but reducing the value of a drama to its romantic content feels very limiting..next
