ngl there's not a drama of his I have watched which i didn't enjoy. sure most weren't masterpieces or anything but then didn't feel like a waste of time like many other kdramas. no gain no love is so good!
but if she took the one year break because of that reason, why were her ex colleagues laughing about it? the huddle and secretive mocking scene is a bit too much even tho chris was a jerk
jesus episode 1 is a slog. already started fast-forwarding scenes because nothing happens for a stretch of time. why is it so slow when it has only 8 epis!
i loved the teaser so much 🥹 it's giving cozy, warm and I love the found family vibes already. it has my perfect drama recipe - fun, romance, & family.

I'm enjoying it a lot!! wish all the episodes were out it seems perfect for binging. The comedy is great, genuinely laughed aloud watching a kdrama after ages. no forced comedy here. there's a flow to all the scenes and this is the first time I'm watching about fostering/foster parents in a kdrama.

i agree with you. while I really like the characters and think the director is skilled at ending each episode well, i feel a lack of continuity and flow between scenes sometimes. a few scenes, like the one with the brother and assistant at the gym for instance, felt like an abrupt cut and literally dropped in as filler making parts of the show a drag.
