Lan jie character is what we call physical body dies but the soul lives on. Throughout the series after she died, it was as if she was sitting at one corner with people were referencing her as if she didnt not die. Her character was so impactful that the weigh of her death was not heavy. She became a continued manuscript after her death. Zelia did a very wonderful job with Lan jie character, it makes you want to reflect on your life, if it will impactful after your death.

He emblezzed funds, money laundering and other dirt

He was a redeemable character, at first you could hate him but try to undestand him( not siding his evil deeds and exploitation). He had no one to protect him as an actor, his company was trash unlike qinglang who had a company(Lan jie) backing him. Yuhao had to fight for his position as an actor alone with made him been influenced be dirt people, as a result he went astray. Similar to han lu and Qi hao yu, han lu had a backing company(Jialin jie) and Qi hao yu was left to fend for himself making him to also make some mistake. Both shi yuhao and qi hao yu are both circumstance character, you will blame them and then pity them as well

This drama teach me lesson on my obsessions for happy endings. If something doesn't go our way, we throw tantrum regardless what destiny says. QingTian's death was such a huge turnover for me, i was so shocked and was wondering, its not that deep, he had suffered alot and he doesnt even taste what we called happy ending but the director had destined for him to die without fulfilling his promise to Wenshu. That was a huge turning point on how i perceived life "the obsession with happy ending" i see this life differently now thanks to zelia jie.

This masterpiece will stay with me for a time, i have never witness something this beautiful in a long period. IT IS BEAUTIFUL.
Zelia is such a wonderful ditector.
Lan jie's character echoes alot even after dying in the earlier episode. Her character is well written and well designed, it makes me want to live an impactful life. As for Shi Yuhao, his redemption arc was somewhat familiar, reflecting upon his bad and rectifying it is all what human should emulate. He death was so sad too( no obsession with happy ending)

I thought i wouldnt cry anymore afterep13, but today's episode was emotional. Changyang crying and QingLang will be left alone for a year. So heartbreaking

@swagata When i started the drama i was just all about the chemistry between QingLang and Chang Yang and the cinematography and then i came to mdl just to read people's comment and all but @oddsare made me see the depth of the drama, it is not just superficial but something deeply rooted in human' s emotion and interaction( for example the tea stuff, i would never know if not for her). And writing a fine long piece just to explain an episode is really wonderful.

Yeah, it can be draining to do the analysis but she seems to enjoy it.
