im on episode 6 and its been over a week and i cant be bothered to watch it as im just really confused on whats going on like, more so whats going on with the male lead like one mintue he put her in prison and like seemed to not like her anymore and the next he is acting like a puppy and their all happy like what is going on at first i thought hes behaving like that because he switched to akhee but now im confused like i think hes being all nice but hes the crown prince but why when before he was angry and put her in prison im confused and the thought that theres 10 more episodes and im jsut thinking its episode 6 but feels like the end of the show what could they possibly show for another 10 episodes? is it worth finishing idk

the actor for gu jin played in this modern drama i think called forever love and i loved him in that but this drama idk why but i feel like the sml hong yi kind of out shines him in my opinion and has more presence not sure if thats to do with gu jins personality not being the typical cool aloof stoic male lead, is it worth sticking out and watching this drama or he doesnt really gain any more character development?

Lately i find it hard to watch these chinese historical dramas because so many of them have a similar plot, with phoenixes and peacocks and flying mid air and magic powers coming from no where and i sort of just wish they would make some historical dramas with just ordinary people and the same king/queen prince/princess setting but with just martial arts fighting. i love these series like i think the actors are good costumes are good but the plots and themes are too typical and reoccuring at this point and they need to release something different, its not interesting when they all have similar plots and i cant take them seriously because thers nothing exciting or new and its just over used plots and themes. I like historical kdramas, they seem to sometimes have a bit more variation in the plots but they barely release any....like the casts in these chinese historical dramas all the actors are good looking and act well and the costumes are great even the scenery is so beautiful in these dramas but the plots dont make me feel interested idk

where do we watch this and should rewatch from season 1 since its been ages ? i looked on netflix but i think its just the first season on there?

i wish they would make chinese historical dramas that havent got too much fantasy element going on like flying in the air and random powers coming out of no where, like i wish they would make like a romance historical drama with just normal people in it with no powers just wth like princes and kings/princess and about power struggle or something with just normal fight scenes with swords and martial arts, i feel like theyve made so many with random powers and flying scenes with the same themes of phoenixes and peacocks and demon realms and heavenly realms that its just over done and i dont get excited for them anymore or they dont feel like i can take them seriously lol

I enjoyed this drama a lot, i just finished watching episode 19, I'm just thinking are we really not even going to get 1 episode of the female lead dressed as a girl :'( at this point im not bothered anymore since ive watched this far only one more episode to go but I'm guessing maybe the last few minutes of the last episode maybe we will see her dressed as a girl lol

im on the first episode and im just wondering how is it possible that the main lead xiao duo is a eunuch? doesnt that mean that he cant be with anyone for the rest of his life since hes *cough cough ...

Should i watch this? I got the impression that its one of those comedy dramas and the plot line wont be that good or serious, I dont mind comedy in dramas but i like a good plot line, should i watch this? does it have a good/serious plot line or is it just light hearted rom com?

I feel like this will air in 2022 because on iqiyi its moved down the list of coming soon but idk

exactly, everything always seems vague when it comes to cdramas, at least with kdramas, they put out the trailers and set the dates properly lol

I've found this channel on youtube that posted a drama called 'Love never fails' with the same actor as the male lead, so i thought it was this drama...here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DjW7l2SvT0&ab_channel=AsianDramaSeries but i looked at this channel and for some reason they seem to be posting a lot of dramas with titles of popular or not yet released dramas and they have the wrong names, like click bate fake titles :/

LBFAD had some of the best fight scenes, it was a really well made drama with no cringy fake looking magic, in a lot of the historical chinese dramas sometimes the scenes with magic and fighting doesnt look well made, but LBFAD was really good for that reason too and WRTW had great fight scenes too. There are some dramas I am keeping an eye out for that are supposedly coming out in 2022, Beauty of Resilience - someone in the comments said its coming out 2nd week of this month, but idk how true that is. Theres also Love never fails, Back From the Brink,The Longest Promise,Snow Eagle Lord, Chong Zi - there meant to be coming out this year its just a question of when, I also wish there would be more historical k-dramas but those are even more rare to come by you get like one or two of those a year if your lucky xD I wish they would bring out more dramas like Alchemy of souls and Arthdal chronicles too

everyday im checking viki,iqiyi,netflix,mango tv, youku,tencent/we tv, for new chinese historical dramas butt here's always nothing :(

I am on episode 8 and i am just wondering how is the current king related to the previous king who is meant to be Jang Uk's father? Because the current king is old so im confused who is related to who?
