The one that Started it all
This is the series that started it all and paved the way for other GL series. The story is Ok nothing new, but even so it is very entertaining. Maybe because of Freen and becky's Chemistry, I think if other actress made this series it won't be the same. Freen has very expressive eyes. I rewatch this series for the hundred times since it was release and i still don't get tired of it. The acting is not the best but it's okay, at the end of the series you can tell that becky is improving little by little. The OST will always be nostalgic.Was this review helpful to you?
Wasted Potential...
I remember when i saw the trailer for this series, i was so excited and amaze and was really looking forward to watch it!!! But when i watch it, i was underwhelm. The story has a lot of loopholes. And a lot of the characters choices are very questionable. Plus four's acting (crying) seems like she is talking to a wall. The ending is weak and i think they could have done it better.Was this review helpful to you?
Weak finale.
I think when i first started watching it that it's the best GL i've watched. Everything seems to be on point, tho i think i have issues with some parts of the story like believing someone instead of communicating with the one you love. Like if you love someone you should trust them 100% and you should be open with them about what's bothering you. I know it's part of the story but i just hate how everything can be solved if they just talk to each other. The last episode seems rushed and has been done before, like a disapproving family member fainting. HAHAHAHA i don;'t like that the mother let her daughter suffer in the 1st episode and suddenly in the finale she suddenly changed.Was this review helpful to you?
It's Cute
The Story is basic and for me the cast is too much, like they have too many side characters. And the thing is that the side characters has more screen time than Sun and Ongsa. Like i don't care much about the friends like why are they giving them more screen time than aylin and luna or sun and ongsa like i don't know. It don't look like a series about Sun and Ongsa, it look like a friend ground love story series like why do you need 5 love story in one GL??? Like whyyy we want Milklove why are we watching Mawin and tin or ton?? I wish they develop Sun and Ongsa's character rather than giving other more screen time. I love ongsa's character very relatable, tho i think sun is very one dimensional, like she is super nice and seems like she don't have any personality. all in all it's cute.Was this review helpful to you?
It's okay...
The story is not engaging, it's kinda boring, the acting is flat and it feel like they are talking to a wall, I don't feel the chemistry, it is nothing new like nothing that surprised me, the script is not well written, the jokes are not funny, the cinematography is okay but most of the time questionable camera angles. It's okay if you are a Englot fan but torture to finish if you just want to watch a good series.Was this review helpful to you?
Best GL Series
The Cinematography, Acting, Music, Character Development, Production, Dialogue and Artistic Style is Top-Notch. To be honest i'm not a fan of period drams but this caught me by surprise. It's Funny, Sad, Makes me Angry... it's making me feel a lot of emotion. I love that we had the chance to witness Anin and Pin as kids, teenagers and grown-ups. It's like we also grow up with them. I also love the hesitation of Pin and the time it took for her to take time and realize how she feel for Anin, because some shows feel rushed. I also love that the characters are not one dimensional, like they have good parts and bad. Because some shows always have a character that is always nice like that person has no dept or personality.
