Finally someone said it!!! I had put this on hold after the 2nd grape scene that happens in the office and thenni saw like 100s of edits showing Lu Feng as a victim while Yi Chen is the culprit🙃🙃🙃 bro wth. Since day 1 of the relationship Yi Chen has been a victim of Stockholm syndrome. Yi Chen dumping him was not something that came as a surprise to him. He clearly told he wants to take things slow and come out to people slowly. He even agreed to come out to his friends.

His mom is in the hospital dieing cz this bugger outted both her sons as gay and all he told him was to take a break till things calm down (NOT BREAK UP). He was the one who brings up break up, cheating and forces him to fix everything that instant🙄. Lu Feng might not have much attachment towards his parents cz they were abusive even before they knew he was gay but during the initial episodes we see how much Yi Chen's parents love and care about him. I don't think Yi Chen was wrong in anyway. He was trying his best to keep the relationship sailing

I just finished ep 7. I couldn't hold myself back after seeing soo many edits about yi chen being a red flag and how poor Lu feng was hurt🙃 (my opinion is not based on the novel or the movie cz i feel there are somethings that have been changed in all the versions)

Yes i hate their parents especially Yi Chen's mom. The audacity to blame Yi Chen cz the brother is also gay is one thing🙄 especially when he moved out immediately after that incident in uni. After seeing her son suffer soo much and sacrificed soo much she still wants him to be the one to marry a woman and not the brother. The bias was soo obvious. Usually when i see homophobic parents, the thought is their child would suffer if people know but in her case i can't say that cz she's fine with the brother being gay🙄 also she knows the brother won't listen to her emotional drama so she chose yi chen.

Out of the 4 main characters initially i hated the brother for hiding the message and not bothering to tell yi chen about it after things calmed down but rn Lu Feng is on the top followed by the brother. I absolutely hate his my way or the highway attitude the entire drama and this happens at every stage of their story he didn't change, there was 0 character development.
- bullies his crush cz he likes him in highschool
- forces himself on his crush in pretense of joke during university.
- instead of waiting for yi chen to come to him he pretty much bulldozers himself into dating him
- rapes him when they did it for the 1st time eventhough yi chen told he was not ready
- didn't bother thinking what yi chen would have went through in the same university where the scandal happened and blamed him for switching out and not replying to the mails
- even after all this shit yi chen chose him and came back to him n just cz yi chen misunderstood him sleeping with another man he rapes yi chen again🙄 instead of apologizing
- yi chen still stays and even agrees to come out to his friends, it's decided they will take things slow. What does he do? Out both Yi chen and his brother in front of the mom. When he clearly knows what yi chen wants
- yi chen never told him they should break up. If u noticed he only told him to be on a break until the whole situation settles. He is the one who brings up breaking up and cheating when he for sure knows yi chen likes no one else
- ties him up when he says they should take things slow🙄🙄🙄
- pushing the brother might have been an accident, but what he did after definitely wasn't. The way he goes back to yi chen and tries to take him to a different city before he knows what happened to the brother🙃🙃 (yeah guys i can totally see poor lu feng hurt ny yi chen)
- paralised his brother and went to the mom to "apologize" knowing she's sick cz of him

I can't say either of them actually love each other lu feng is only obsessed with yi chen cz his family was abusive and he found solace in him and also cz he's obsessed with getting what he want which is not happening in his case. I feel even if they did get together later in the story. Yi Chen would only be an object who Lu Feng pretends to love. As for Yi Chen he just has Stockholm syndrome. I really can't believe people still support Lu Feng. I've not watched the timeskip part yet nor the wedding and i can still tell this mess is cz of him

I never expected Wan Ze and Hama chan to be a switch couple😳 but there's a loop hole in this wish meds Wan Ze wished for a passionate lover while He Xiang wished to vanish so him vanishing makes sense but Hama chan forgetting Wan Ze was basically the opposite of what he wished

Damn they've made it much more intense when it comes to stress compared to the webtoon. When i read the webtoon i was a little stressed but i was basically brawling my eyes out cz of Sun's thoughts that went in the background. Like him blaming himself for everything and how he had this rule where he'd never kill anyone eventhough he collected debts. If I'm not wrong he accidentally hurts the kid too cz he was soo frustrated and was in a rush to get money for his brother. The interaction between him and his brother is just too cinematic and emotional in the webtoon the stairs kinda being a point of contact in his memories. It was just soo emotional u literally cried reading it. Minor changes but i get why they did it. They definitely can't have it just as it is in the webtoon. I think they've done justice to the original just a little less emotional cz things are going faster but in the webtoon it goes pane by pane crushing your heart.
