Yes you are correct. The story is he cheated on her "by accident" right after they got married. . But, sometimes the story we hear at first is not what really happened.

It bothers me also, but I have seen K-dramas where people are still blamed for stuff they had no control over. I have seen some where the people doing the blaming don't even know the one they are blaming didn't know whatever it was even happen. The writers will sometimes have them keep silent and some third party has to disclose the truth much later in the drama. It's very frustrating writing to me. I don't know why this technique is a thing for some K-drama writers.

I don't know how family registries truly work either. I am just going off what I saw in C-dramas and K-dramas and China and Korea seem to have those instead of birth certificates and those seem to be needed to even get married.

We can have our problems with birth certificates when the mother does not list a father on it because they don't know who the father is or list a father and it's found out later through a paternity test that the person is not the father.

I recall the FL giving the 2ML a pass on that and is thinking of their time together as positive. I don't know any females in real life that would take what he did to her without trying to hurt the guy.

What the doctor's ex did by just dropping the kid off like that and leaving the country should be illegal. Yes it is the kid's father proven by the DNA test, however he doesn't have legal custody of him. He's not in his family register and she kept him a secret for 5 years. How that is even close to okay or legal to do is beyond me. She didn't even leave the 5 year old in with an adult just abandoned him in front of the new wife's apartment.

I didn't think when we first learned about TU's back story he would be so quick to warm to the Chairman since he sees how easy it was for him to abandon an entire family. Even though it was his mom that did it to him, I would think he would not like that sort of behavior in anyone no matter their reason. I guess I was wrong.

There is also abandonment to an orphanage, which condemns the kid to low-class status more than the parents doing it.

After today's episode and after he committed to the 2nd FL's mother I don't see a path for the 2nd ML to come back to the FL, pregnant or not.

I think her mother already has enough clues to know what's really up with her. FL may still try to cover it up but the aunt has also seen the clues and there is just no way those 2 women are not going to figure out she is pregnant.

Most of the characters in this drama with the exception of Kang Ju's mom and Da Rim act as though Kang Ju deserves nothing. No job, no family, no money. Nothing.

Feel for Gang Ju. All his life up to now he thought if he showed he was a good son he would have a father figure in his life he could count on. Only the very man he was trying to prove himself to apparently saw him as necessary baggage he had to endure to get where he wanted to be in life and nothing more. The Chairman even referred to him as a bastard.

He has been that way the entire show. His attempts to be a big brother figure to Da Rim really painted him as more of a-hole than a caring brother.

He is just like his father.

Maybe she will change when she learns about the money. She finally figures out money can bring problems and it is not the panacea she seems to think it is.

It might sound crazy but Cha Rim? The writers may redeem her by giving up what she has and taking a chance with Gang Ju. That may also salvage her relationship with the 2nd ML. She might do it for her sister though and not for Gang Ju.

We must wait longer for Gang Ju to get his business off the ground. I thought the designer was going to take a chance but in the end, she didn't have enough courage and faith. It was a big ask of her anyway to leave a stable job.
