They stage these sorts of dumb scenes in K-dramas a lot. Upon discovering the body, let's get blood all over their hands, grab the weapon, forget about calling 119, instead scream at the person to come to their senses.

Are we getting close to the female leads figuring out that they both deserve revenge for the death of a loved one?

It's hard to take Dae Chi and Su Jeong as villains. They are so inept, pathetic, and silly that all I can do is laugh at their antics.

I think if the writer could reverse some things, like bringing back Bio-dad and Seo Rin, I would feel differently. As it is, Hwa Yeong's downfall, coming in the last part of the next-to-last episode with an arrest, will seem so lame compared to what she has gotten away with for 30-plus years and what she took all the way to the end.

I think I wrote this before, but I just don't think there is a way for the writer to end this in a manner where it will feel like justice was served and revenge was obtained. The Twins and Suk Hui have lost too much, suffered too much trauma, to think that they could go on to live a happy life or be at peace.

They really are not. I have had that feeling for a while now from the one actor who is so stiff he acts more like a cardboard cut out of himself than an actual living human, to the creepy long stares the actors give each other during scenes.

The ones seeking revenge on Red Pearl are all working against each other, stepping all over each other's plans.

I don't know if we can say it backfired, but at the very least, it seems to have been just a waste of time to fill up 2 episodes and served no real purpose beyond that. They didn't get any confession, and they didn't get them to turn on each other, so what the point of it all was is lost on me.

And this Baek Ho doubt thing is crap. He has to know they are all a bunch of liars and schemers. They have been doing that for 128 episodes now. He is supposed to be a lawyer and should have the skill set to recognize that he is being played.

So the 2 FL's seeking revenge are stepping on each other's revenge plans. The 2 ML's trying to help them are fighting each other. Someone needs to hold an all-hands meeting and get this train on track.

I hope this Min Ho Seungri thing does not go on much longer. It's almost like beating a dead horse into the ground and then stomping on it. I think us viewers get it. Let them do something else for a while and maybe come back to it later in the drama.

When you look at this drama overall, the same plot has unfolded multiple times. To put what I am saying simply:

Hwa Yeong gets exposed and then she gets out of it. Hwa Yeong gets exposed and then she gets out of it. It's still going that way.

Was Team Jang Mi savvy enough to let them escape on purpose since the confession plan was not working? See if Hwa Yeong and Manger Lee try to move the murder weapon and retrieve whatever slush funds they still had?

Does the network the drama airs on have much impact on the ratings? 6 percent means the drama is doing very well. Below that, and it's meh.

First Man airs on MBC. This drama has never reached 6 percent in the ratings, both nationwide and in Seoul.

Red Pearl (Revenge) airs on KBS and has consistently been above 6 percent nationwide. It's not doing as well in Seoul, but it's doing just okay there.

Our Happy Days (Family) airs on KBS and has consistently been above 6 percent nationwide, and is doing very well in Seoul.
