This script has gotten ridiculous. They are trying so hard to stretch it to 40 episodes that they turned reasoning upside down, dragging out some unnecessary plot lines and including some that should not even be there, SMH!
At this point, I am just fast-forwarding as I watch to finish it, as I have invested a lot of time watching it this far.

I hate the university part of this drama, it feels like high school, arrghhh! I like the present-day scenes. I read this goes on until Ep.23 and I am only in Ep.5. I do not know how to continue this drama as the high-school feeling of the University era is throwing me off.

I agree. Ling Zi has a regal beauty and striking features. Wang Churan has the kind of beauty Liu Yifei has (enchanting kind). Regal beauties tend to stand time and aging (my opinion)

I absolutely enjoyed this show. One of the few C-dramas without a rushed ending. It had me smiling most times. The crew and casts played their roles really well.

I will definitely be on a hunt for another good drama that isn’t childish or idolish.

I really enjoyed this show. It really exceeded my expectations. It is well done, I couldn’t believe the amount of effort they put into it. The CGI were great (those idol costume dramas can take a note or two).

Now, time for season 2. I hope it doesn’t disappoint.

Initially interesting, but like most C-dramas fell considerably off close to ending. SMH!

I didn’t expect this to be so good. Now at Ep.16 and enjoying it very much.

Wow 🤩 ! Please don’t take another 5 years to give us season 3. I barely remembered the events of Season 1. I thoroughly enjoyed season 2 and the story line and humour. Also, the closing OST is so good too.

I noticed she has bias (in a bad way) to some actors/actresses. I guess as she works in C-entertainment, she has some personal experiences with some cast and crew. But, she tries to present herself as neutral, which I don't believe anymore.

It does. He gives me Wang Kai's vibe (I absolutely love Wang Kai, he has a certain je ne sais quoi)

This was an absolute joy to watch. I haven't felt this way about a Modern romance C-drama since Love is Sweet ☺️.
I even think this one is a little better. Thanks for entertaining me well. I am going to have withdrawal syndrome. I need a great Modern C-drama recommendation with a mature and intelligent cast.

Yes, AvenueX uses extremely bad adjectives to describe those she doesn’t like and then plays off the same thing for those she likes.
