At least there was (almost) no Kingkamol in the finale. Late, but still. I also appreciate the message that marriage should be about two people, no one else.
My CH3 subscription ended a few days ago and I was wondering if I needed to renew it. Then I realized there is still one episode left... was it worth it? I don't know. Was this show worth it? I'm not sure. Is there anything else worth commenting on? I don't think so.
I was honestly surprised by how good the final episode was. Everything makes sense, the time jumps are well used, and I even shed a tear for aunt. Fai and Phrao are simply the definition of cuteness and if I remember correctly, they are the only couple of 4E who didn't break up before wedding. Well done.
Despite recommending some therapy sessions to Runch's mother in previous episodes, I didn't expect her to go into full psycho mode. Scam call as a bonus. Karma's a b*tch. This drama is 2 or even 4 episodes longer than it should be, but we made it (almost) to the end, one last hit and the rest will be memories.
I'm not an extra huge LingOrm fan, so I didn't really expect that this 10th episode would be my favorite. We already know that the script won't save this series, so it has to be the acting, and I enjoyed Orm in this episode. And if it wasn't obvious by now, she's outgrown her co-star(s) so much in this series. For last 2 episodes I expect for some time already, that this Utt guy will do some bullsh*t (preview looks promising) and Runch will be affected so Kinkamol will have to "get a grip" finally.
My observation so far: 1. Overall impression is good. Literally, not perfect, not bad, but just in the middle. Different director than in previous series helped a lot. I believe actresses are more comfortable and it shows. I really like those few funny moments. I also accept that these two are not able or willing to make "hot" scenes hot. Or at least believable, since they are portraying a married couple. It is like it is, we need to get used to it. 2. After half of the show, I can't see any redemption for Runch's mother. I can't imagine what needs to happen so she will change her attitude. 3. Not about series. As seen in BTS, I don't get it, how LingLing after about 15 years in Thailand and many many years in industry can't speak Thai properly some simple words. If she can't do it, how should we learn this language, without being surounded by native speakers :D
For me, this series didn't work at all. Definitely weakest and after last episode also stupidiest of 4E (so far,…
Oh, I forgot to mention stupid king who got rid of beloved daughter just like that and beloved baby brother, who had some kind of "duties" so he couldn't attend wedding. This whole series is just one big plothole.
For me, this series didn't work at all. Definitely weakest and after last episode also stupidiest of 4E (so far, but I don't think Fire can be worse). Action scenes were ridiculous. Police, oh no comment. Traitor's reason? Without explanation it makes no sense, why did the royal family (and who exactly) do what they did, not so many years ago. Citizens didn't notice such massacre? And romance? Sorry, I didn't catch much of this either. All interesting parts were flashbacks, imaginations or dreams while being drunk. Ladas' twist in Water last episode was believable, because we new, she was in love. Here for princess, again, it just didn't work. And finally, Lom.. we were teased with different Lom in previous two series (and first episode here). I kind of miss her. Freen and Becky did their best with what was given to them, but adaptation given to them was simply bad from start to end, and this couldn't be beaten however they tried.
