Definitely my favorite show. I started watching BL randomly 6 years ago. And I always crave BLs that are about LGBTQIA+ people living their lives. And YMS was that for me.

From the beginning I fell in love with the coolest school I'd ever seen in one of these shows. And a hazing process that made me genuinely excited about the rest the semester. A school with a range of LGBTQIA+ people who were accepted and lived their lives. Women who didn't spend all their time chasing men who didn't want them. Athletes with beautifully imperfect relationships that felt so real. The show created 6 main characters that I cared about and even when they frustrated me, I never stopped loving them and hoping that they would find happiness.

Strong camerawork and cinematography are often afterthoughts in shows like this, but nearly every scene was shot like a Hollywood movie which I loved. The mostly new actors were all directed in a way that made it clear that worked hard and understood the motivations of their characters throughout the series. The acting was never perfect, but the characters were complex and their goals and desires changed multiple times, like in real life and I loved that too. The writers were clearly ambitious when it came to the main storyline. And I was very frustrated by the writing in later episodes. Now that it's over it feels like they planned enough story for 2 seasons of FahThorn but only enough for 1/2 of a season of SaenAii and DomeVee. That sucks, but the imperfect storytelling doesn't change the fact that this is my all time favorite show because of characters.

I'm going to miss quietly intense Dome who in spite of everything, I could never hate. And Vee a thoughtful brother who couldn't help but fall in with his sister's boyfriend. And lonely Saen who was proud to express his love for his soulmate Aii to anyone and everyone while also bei g a really great best friend to Thorn. And Aii who had a plan for his future that never involved someone like Saen, but after he met Saen, created space in his life to live out his dreams and still be in love with Saen.

And Thorn a lonely orphan who spent his whole life devoted to a man who gave him fun, friendship, family and love. And my all time favorite character Fah, who was never the smartest, kindest or most articulate person. He was an athlete at his core, but he was so much more to so many people and he allowed himself to fall in love with person he'd always been the closest to. He made A LOT of mistakes, but he remained the little boy who nutured and cared for Thorn when no one else did. FahThorn are my OTP and I was hooked on them the moment Thorn looked at Fah during the Warm Up. And their flashbacks added so much depth to their relationship, which REALLY loved. I'm going to miss overly affectionate Fah and Thorn who effortlessly had Fah wrapped around his finger. From their peacefully domestic moments to their fights that effected everyone around them. I love these 2 so much!

I'm also gonna miss the MDL comments section. I can't remember the last time I watched such a polarizing show, but week after week the comments here made me even more invested in my favorite show. I know a lot of people have valid reasons to dislike various aspects of the show, but I'm glad everyone watched.

Title Something in My Room Spoiler
I watched the 1st 3 episodes and then paused because I found them to be extremely boring. I came back and watched the rest of the series uncut and fell asleep on multiple episodes.

I wish I loved this as much as most of the commentors here. But I felt like it was a mess. A horror show with a BL plot added in to bring in a larger audience. It baffles me how the edited version leaves out many key plotpoints in the show, but I'm also baffled at how boring most of the uncut version was. I'm really glad that companies are making some unique BLs, but a unique premise doesn't equal a well executed series.

There were sooooo many random and wasted plots and characters. A play, fashion, aliens, parents who hate their kid, strangling someone and then being welcomed into their house, a mom who does NOTHING everyday, Dream and so many more. There were large parts of the series where I forgot I was supposed to be watching a BL because Nuan was given so much screen time. It was obvious from episode 1 that she was bad and yet they spent sooooo much time showing us how bad she really was and she never had negative repercussions for her actions.

I really liked Nut's acting, he improved A LOT since Oxygen and he was the reason I didn't give up. Maybe if I had felt an emotional connection to the story, I would have cried at the end and enjoyed it as much as some of the other viewers, but by the end I was just glad it was over.

Oh no. Not another high school in blue shorts to college freshmen in black slacks. This is getting so overdone.
It's not a trope. Thai schools and colleges have uniforms, so most Thai shows set in high school will have boys who wear blue shorts and most Thai shows set in college will have guys who wear black pants. There are some exceptions to the uniforms, but most schools throughout the country have the same requirements for clothes.

Omg, this gets better every week. I never thought the show could live up to the manhwa and even though 8 episodes isn't enough, but I love this soooo much. I can't figure out who's more aborable, the actor playing Bom or his puppy form from the special chapters that was on his Haebom bag in this episode. Puppy Bom made it on the show! 😍

I really liked the 1st episode. Nut and Karn still have great chemistry and there are no engineers or chefs which is a big plus. I'm look forward to next week's episode.

I wish it wasn't so hard for international fans to watch BLs these days, but I was able to watch it on their youtube channel using a vpn set to Hong Kong

EarthMix are soooo good together 🥰🥰. I'm sad it's over, but I'm looking forward to rewatching it every week on GMMTV's youtube channel. IMO it's not perfect, but I hope people give it a chance and don't write it off after 1 or 2 episodes. Episode 10 was definitely my favorite. Now I'm officially waiting for Moonlight Chicken!

Also, in terms of Mix's acting I don't think it's fair to judge his acting skills based off a couple of episodes. Like others have already said, writers, editors and directors play a large role in how a character is portrayed on screen. I didn't like Win in the beginning and the character was purposefully written/directed to be unlikeable. Yes it was over the top, but I think Mix did the best he could with less than great material.

I'm so conflicted. I think I loved this season more than the first, but I never felt a connection to the main character. The parody was hilarious and I loved how yaoi tropes kept being called out, but I'm too much of a fujoshi and I really wanted more from all the side couples 🤣. Can't wait for season 3!

For me this wasn't as goos as the other 2. I really wanted to like it but I never felt like Praram liked Nuea. And everytime they were together, the friends were being negative and getting in the way. The friends went from being supportive and helpful in the first 2 series, to being mean and even more gossipy in the final series. I never doubted that Gun loved Bar and I believed it when Bar fell for Gun. I always believed that Mark and Vee liked each other. But with Praram and Nuea, the spark was never there. But I did like both characters.

I usually avoid stories about cheating, but this was pretty good. I liked Mark and Vee and their messy relationship never felt irritating. Also, the friends were rational and supportive which I really enjoyed.

I agree with everything you said. But for some reason it's not ruined for me yet. I loved it too much let the recent episodes destroy it completely. I'm really going to act like this was a bad dream and that the real show ended in 8 episodes.

Yes he had every right to be angry. And for some reason he ends up being the only the one to apologize. It's ridiculous!

Why the F did they make the main character of the show the villian in the 2nd to last episode? Why did all of Thorn's teammates, Thorn's coach and the man who supposedly loves and understands Thorn the most abandon him FOR MONTHS when he needed support the most? How did everyone forget that Fah stopped playing basketball because the team sucked and are now surprised that Thorn is frustrated because the team sucks? Why does the team suck? Why aren't the other players trying to get better? Why is a professional basketball team playing against a college team? Is coach Tuan being paid to help Thorn, if so by who? Why is Chain a supportive friend one minute and then saying rude things the next? Why has no one realized the coach Big was never a great coach? Thorn has always been the head coach of the team, without Thorn they had no leader and they didn't improve, but now everyone wants to be mad at Thorn for trying to improve himself and actually wanting to win the game, WTF??? Why wasn't there anything for Saen, Aii, Vee, Dome or Pete to do in this episode? Did Aii, Dome, Pete and Fah graduate and the writer just didn't bother to have a graduation ceremony? Why is Thorn apologizing to Fah? Why is Fah not admitting he is the problem, do they even know that he's the problem? What does Fah want? What does Thorn want? And how does the last 5 minutes resolve their larger problems?

All of these questions were swirling in my mind throughout this episode. I know episode 12 won't give us any real answers and that's truly unfortunate. This show was really great until it wasn't. The characters weren't perfect but they behaved realistically.

I don't know what was going on behind the scenes or why things are ending this way. But I'm sad because I know it could have been sooooooo much better. And the characters and actors deserve so much better. I know a lot of people don't like Tae's acting, but it's obvious the writer and director didn't get him much to work with here. I hope other networks are paying attention and don't make similar mistakes with future shows.

It really feels like they brought in a new writer after episode 8 who changed many of the characters and their motivations. And the original writer didn't come back until the very end of episode 11.

I've been a non-stop cheerleader of this show since the trailer 1st came out. But 9, 10 and 11 have had A LOT of flaws. The events of these episodes could have been saved for a season 2, but instead they were shoved into the end stage of season 1 which has made the first (and probably last) season of this show take a huge dip in quality. The characters deserved better than this and so does the audience.

For my own sake as a viewer and fan of the characters, I'm going to act like episode 10 and most of episode 11 didn't happen and look forward to a happy ending for all 3 couples.
