not my usual cup of tea, but definitely one I’m happy I tried
This isn’t the kind of drama I’d usually pick, but I decided to give it a shot to widen my K-drama horizons and break out of my usual genre bubble. And honestly? I’m glad I did.The first episode pulled me in right away, it was intense and exciting, and I was so curious to know more. But somewhere in the middle, I felt it start to get a little repetitive. Still, I stuck with it, and by episode 10, it picked back up and I was hooked again.
I cried a few times, laughed occasionally, and even though the horror didn’t really scare me, the tension kept me watching. What surprised me most was that I didn’t miss the romance and I’m a romance addict, lol. The trio had such amazing chemistry that their friendship felt like its own kind of love. Watching them bond (even through trauma) was actually really nice.
The ending? I kind of saw it coming, but I kept second-guessing myself, so it still hit. My only small gripe is that I wish they did something about that assemblywoman but I guess that’s part of the point, right? Evil always exists among us, whether we like it or not.
Overall, not my usual cup of tea, but definitely one I’m happy I tried.
