The first half had me, the second lost me
At first, I really enjoyed this drama. The actors, their performances, the chemistry between the characters, the beautiful locations, the music, and the overall atmosphere were all amazing. I also really liked the story, especially because I was expecting something calm, romantic, and slow-burn. The first half was exactly that, and I genuinely enjoyed watching it.
Unfortunately, around the halfway point, I started thinking, “What is even going on?” The whole disorder storyline felt completely unnecessary to me. Instead of adding something meaningful to the story, it just made everything more complicated and suddenly took the drama in a completely different direction. And then, in the last 30 minutes of the final episode, we suddenly find out that the parents are actually alive, but almost nothing is properly explained. Everything happens way too quickly, leaving more questions than answers.
And that’s honestly what makes me sad about this drama, because the first half was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a calm romance and a slow burn, but suddenly the story became full of unnecessary complications. I still loved the acting, visuals, music, and overall atmosphere, but the second half really disappointed me. It had so much potential.
