His scenes were cut and the actor is no longer listed in the official cast as far ad I know
That's because people thought he'd play BDJ. He was supposed to play a different character. It was listed in the special wrap up video which was released months ago. But no one care to edit it which results in confusion.

They can't. TBOY happened and it's canon. The good news is you will not see it in BR because of the different timeline. You can treat it as HE but not HEA for some characters

agree to disagree because they stay true to the source material with BHH, it's not like they purposely increase her screentime just for distraction, BHH is still the official partner of SMY.

While TBOY was centered around Xiao Se but the other characters got the spotlight with cool fight scenes. Dashing Youth was not BDJ show because the 2nd part was all about YDZ, even ML's fans complained about the lack of screentime for their bias

SMY just trying to stop SCH but during the fight SCH was ambushed and one of the poisoned needles from Storm Blossom Needles pierced into him (one of the Tang Clan secret weapon, the same weapon SCH used to attack Li Han Yi). So, he's done for. TBOY episode 37.
