It's a male-centric revenge drama. This drama has no FL. It has a slight romance in the novel but I'm not sure if they follow the novel since they've made major rewrites. WYW filmed for 20 days only, surely that's not enough to build a romance.

It's not on the list of dramas to be broadcast in August.

It's probably fake . This is a FL-centric drama. It makes more sense if they cast rising actors. Unlike some actors, Gongjun has never refuted the rumored projects.

I hope the fake earth whatever ends with S2, if there's S3, GJ will not participate. Just focus on filming dramas or find other variety show.

He's filming costume dramas back to back but he has 2-3 months gap between filmings. Costume dramas are more intriguing than modern romance dramas. I hope he gets more interesting genre for modern dramas.

Bromance is just a small part of it. The main plot is solving the cases.

Maybe his past flings or he's pretending to like them to solve the cases. He's supposed to have his real partner (Shaman) but maybe they scrapped it. The production and Tencent only care to create 'BL' elements with 2ML. I cringed watching some of the BTS. It's such a boring trope because I've seen it enough in male-centric dramas. Bromance is fine if done moderately.

I'll watch it if he has more screen time but romance dramas have always been from FL's POV. So, FL will usually have more screen time. It's not my favorite genre. So, I've always had trouble finishing it even if he's in it. I dropped both FSMM & RWTW half-way through.

I'm not sure but Youku's drama seems more interesting. A casting call has been announced yesterday. Filming is expected to start in early October. At least GJ will have 2 months gap between filmings unless he has accepted the offer for KITW from Tencent, that means he will film KITW first in August, 24 episodes only, it's a urban drama so it will probably take 2-2.5 months max to finish filming. But he will be filming non-stop since February. There are rumors that he has 4 dramas lined up.

During his previous live stream , he talked about receiving scripts for a period drama. I know he has always wanted to take on a role in a period drama.
