That hospital hug and crying scene on seeing that she was fine again was just β€οΈ. BWS just aced that scene. It was so heartfelt and touching and his reactions were spot on! ππππ Rest of the episode was good too; I liked its pace. And the epilogues are always a cute lil treat for the viewers! β€οΈ
A nice fluffy romcom after many years! I like the fact that even though they do discuss serious stuff inbetween, they move from it soon enough and maintain the overall light hearted feel of the drama. It isn't overly lovey-dovey either, just the right amount of playful light romance which is gradually increasing.
Plus the visuals, both of the actors and the gorgeous vibrant landscapes, are truly a treat for the sore eyes. I'm already sad it's only 12 episodes.
So excited they are back! Loved their chemistry in their previous drama! They are one of my fav Dr couple, the other one being doctor couple in Once again (Lee Sang-yeob and Lee Min-jung).
I like him but I will miss the S1 dynamics. I wanted S2 to show some romance b/w her and her male bff, they left hanging in part 1. I guess that's not happening now. :(
I love that drama - so far I re-watched it almost 6 times! I prefer historical dramas with a handsome, intelligent…
Yeah, even I have watched it countless times. I love the Disguise trope in general where someone powerful acts as a ordinary person and villains insult them only to find that they are the actual boss and get schooled! Lol Plus this show was a lovely romcom on top of that with some great chemistry between the leads. A perfect winning combo !
Seems interesting, will surely check this out! I first saw her in 100 days my Prince, one of my fav dramas, wish the leads were paired again in another drama though, they had awesome chemistry in that.
She takes advantage of their vulnerabilities as an opportunity to manipulate them.
Oh she does, I am just saying I can understand why the guys are letting her manipulate them so easily. She isn't even hiding her ill intentions as a grown up from both of them and still they agree with her, that I think is because of the reasons I mentioned above.
While I have no problem with Ah Jinβs downfall, I hope everyone who hurt Ah Jin will also receive their appropriate…
I totally agree with your point! The only thing she needs to actually regret and repent for is framing her boss because he was genuinely a nice guy! I wish she tricked some bad guy for it then I would have totally supported her crazy schemes!
Btw I get both the MLs pov, like she was at some point genuinely concerned about both of them when nobody cared about their existence. Like Jun Seo was manipulated as a kid by his mom never to even step out of his room and was kept like some kind of hostage so she can claim the inheritance of her dead husband who wasn't even his actual dad. And it's lil Ah jin who helped him out of the situation.
Same for 2nd ml, when he was going to surrender, she was the one who genuinely understood him and gave some sound advice because of which he is now out of jail. Even his lil bro whom he saved doesn't like him but she being a abuse survivor herself gets him and he's thankful for that.
Ok just caught up with all 6 eps and I don't know whether I missed it or something but didn't that other actress take the file with her? Then why does she need more info on Ah Jin? She could just leak the file to the reporter directly right? π
Reposting my Review: So I watched the k drama just last week for the first time after I saw that this is a remake of that. So I'm just going to compare both and give my opinion.
Revenge plot: K drama did it better. Even another k drama with the same story 'Perfect marriage revenge' did the revenge plot better. Here the whole purpose of been given a second chance is defeated because the Fl is still too soft for her own good and overly trusting and forgiving! Ugh she was murdered because of these very traits the first time and she didn't learn anything new in her 2nd time in the J version unlike the K versions! Only place she shines is the meeting with the parents which is similar to the k version and very satisfying to watch! Otherwise she still seems like a pushover who needs the ML and his sis to come to her rescue everytime... :(
J drama makers need to stop showing evil people getting forgiveness in the end! They always tell that they are evil due to their circumstances and hence deserve forgiveness no matter how many innocent people they have hurt and don't regret! They even showed a son(ML) simply forgiving a lady who killed his mother for property in another drama! Ughh...
They don't understand that by showing such nonsense they are insulting millions of other people who are in a similar bad situation or had even worse childhood than these evil people but still chose to follow the right path and remain as good individuals without hurting others! So no, it's not about the circumstances, but it's all about individual choices one makes to follow the right path or not! So good people deserve praise and bad people punishment not forgiveness!
Acting : Both k and J dramas have stellar performances, especially J villain lady was fab! She totally creeps you out! Lol
Music : I generally don't notice the music in dramas but here it was actually so good that I noticed it.
So basically for me the J version's only plus point is its short length, unlike the endlessly long k version especially towards the end the fiancee story was a drag there, here it's short and crisp. If the j version had the proper revenge plot too, then it would have been 10/10 but now it is only 7.5/10 for me.
It was so wierd that the mom did not return to the Amusement park to search for the daughter, that too her lil…
Oh, they filmed it in 2024?I thought it was filmed earlier because of the dates shown in the videos was 2023 in many scenes... So I thought it must have been filmed during late 2022- early 2023...
Ok, so I heard about the plot of this drama and was immediately reminded about an article I read recently about an old (1960) Indian Black and white movie with similar story line! Movie name - 'Bombai ka babu' . Actors: Dev Anand and Suchitra Sen. Even though I haven't seen both the movie nor the drama, the things I have read about their plots, I think they are quite similar.
Plus the visuals, both of the actors and the gorgeous vibrant landscapes, are truly a treat for the sore eyes. I'm already sad it's only 12 episodes.
