Okay episode 17 was brilliant. Haoming's mother sticking up for Xu Yan and shedding tears!!! I loved how she also shrugged off Fang Lei- she deserved that and more! Episode 18 wasn't that great imo, although I love seeing Haoming obsess over what Xu Yan is doing! teasers for 21-22 are looking EXTRA good too!

I don’t think ML is regretting how he treated the FL more so that he is regretting the position he’s in now because she wants a divorce. He had his ass handed to him by his father though, that was epic 🤩

I think in part it’s because of the sister and also keeping the father sweet due to the deal they did.

from the teasers he looks rattled by her decision, I love it! also, looney tune that’s the perfect name for her! 🤣

100% I am here for it. I'm on the fence on whether I want her to end up with him or not. He was unnecessarily cruel to her and if they are endgame, then there needs to be an exceptional amount of grovelling imo.

I'm delighted that Xu Yan is taking back control and leaving that a**hole in the dust. He's shocked she is going through with it... Imagine being so up your own a** that you don't truly see someone... I can't wait to see him get his comeuppance!

I’m only on ep. 13 but this “relationship” the FL has with the ML seems to be purely transactional. it’s actually insane how fake he is to her and she doesn’t seem to be getting the memo… please tell me she kicks him to the curb??

can someone who knows about the customs of the era explain how the king’s proposal works? it translated as be my companion but I’m thinking she wouldn’t have the same status as Consort Kang?

just finished ep. 5 and I’m on the same line of thinking as you. something happened 10 years ago to all of them and I’m wondering how it’s all connected. the child could very well be hers.
