I am late to the party but surprised to see people not liking it :(
I absolutely love that they are focusing on building the story, I think its better approach then building characters, cause most integral characters have been build in season1 and new ones r getting just enough screentime and layering that we can distinguish their profiles, to me honestly I smell a masterplot thats coming
This drama is a whole some cesspool, but we can agree that baekchanmi vs NIS agent in the rain fight scene will go down in history, the scene is too good with the spy bgm and umbrella vs kicks choreography. Infact the entire triple fight scene situation in that episode is pretty amazing.
Also why tf was Mr Byun the one to fight Michael lol that should have been Baek chan mi
Not every drama will start out like "OH MY GOD I CAN FIGHT LIKE A MAD MAN." She is weak in martial art because…
“She is weak in martial art because of the plot convenience“
That’s exactly the problem... because home girl is supposed to be young master & representation of her sect but she is hopeless in all action scenes & ml has to rescue... it’s tiring to see plot like that.... like name 5 c-dramas where FL fights truly like madman from start.... while u will see 90% wuxia drama where ml is op from start.
It’s it’s plot that is the issue it’s simply an excuse it’s totally possible to pan out main lead meeting without the unnecessary waist grab & making FLlook so incompetent
Strong contender for top 10 kdrama of all time. 2020 is the year for amazing female characters. And damn Cha Young Jin, she is amazing. Not only is she a hard boiled detective with amazing skills, she is also an amazing human being. She is a role model.
So far, signal & 1 L of tears had been the only drama that made me cry, now Nobody Knows also joins.
The music & cinematography is breathtaking. And despite the story being a single case story it is not dragging at all. The pacing, minute details etc r carefully woven together for this breathtaking fabric of a drama.
drama: unnecessary slow-mo fight with CG, loud rowdy music to show 'bad-ass action'me: turns the volume down and…
Ummm this is a comedy drama unless you missed memo, also for a comedy drama in ep1 alone ridiculous amount of original action scenes r there. I don’t see why this complaint holds.
OMFG the 1st episode was booomb, tho there is some cringey stuff here and there it fits wells for comedy genre. Its kinda like Fiery priest. I like the oldest ajhumma in our OP team the most. She is a mess but awesome (^-^)
Wanted to watch for Cheng Xiao but it’s gonna turn into yet another op Male idol/period drama cringefest.... nope thank you.....best wishes for Chen xiao tho .... she is a rookie but her fight scenes r pretty decent, tho she needs to work for happy emotion face a lot more. Her character could have been written as a cold character she would have seemed natural that way. Anyways dropping this
Idk if it’s the acting or the script but the MC Kaguya’s character seems 90* off from the manga/anime. Kaguya in anime was 70% cold-meticulous-genius planner 30% confused soul, but in movie it’s reverse & it simply doesn’t feel good. And the scenes Kaguya scaring Ishigami was too overacted. The movie misses the original essence of the manga it seem, it’s a cute & lovely watch but not quite as memorable as original.
WTF is ep1.... grown ass people being clowns... a ceo who uses in-situ verification (will take weeks/month) to prove IR wrong....while an algorithm could solve it in seconds.... + the dumbest moment is when he went for checkup at psychiatric dept.... but still lies to the doctor, smh
And our female lead..... she clearly has PTSD but keeps taking pills and botches surgery?.... like what r we supposed to be sorry for people like this
