I mean, I think her novels are romance heavy, and even angst is romantic angst, and always couple against the world. The level to the extent of Immortal Samsara, TTEOTM, Love & redemption etc where its just pure pain all the way isn't her style., I think.

I wouldn't have forgiven Immortal Samsara, but they came out with the extra eplilogue that was nice. TTEOTM I was disappointed. I didn't watch the others, because I'm quite picky even though Xianxia is my favorite genre. Honestly though, I skipped a lot of the politics/villians plot for these, so I don't even know why ML/FL/Both has to die in the end. So thats why im super happy with Shen Li, I haven't been bored with any bad guy stuff at all.
