The most relatable drama of my life
This is a fantastic drama, so beautifully done, and extremely poetic. Every stage of my life I've watched this in, I have felt something different. In my 20s, I related to Soo Ji, who didn't need a man, and thought her besties, family, and career are the most important things.
Close to turning 30, I related the most to Ji ho, who wanted to find a steady, unchanging, comfortable "home". Especially good if it comes with a soulmate & partner to call it "ours".
A couple years later, after my breakup of a long-term relationship, I knew how Ho Rang must've felt, with time-ticking, stuck in a loving but just utterly wrong relationship - and how her bf Wonseok couldn't change the way he JUST ISN'T READY.
As Nam Se Hee said, age doesn't matter to cats. To them, time is only the current moment; they do not feel sad or depressed about the passage of time. This has been my favorite drama since 2017, and it still is to this day.
I would knock off half a star for the last episodes, but...ehhh...it is overall too good to hate on.

Good 2nd chance/revenge drama
I really enjoyed all of this drama, best part is that the pacing is quick and not dragging. Some people said it is too depressing and sad, but it is expected of a story like this. It is more realistic than Story of Kunning Palace, at least.Sometimes the FL character made frustrating decisions, but it is within (her) reasoning. The love triangle do exist for both lifetimes, and it is painful for all those involved. My favorite character is the ML Mu Chuan, because he is the only one that is unwavering from beginning to end, and sweet as can be. He is honest with his feelings, even if slow to act until pushed. The actor did a very good job with his emotions.
Jing Chao playing SML (and villain) did a fantastic job - even to the end I could not hate him at all. FL character is very good, but I had a problem with the actress. It's my first time watching her, but I thought she lacked charisma and her eyes seem emotionless some of the time.
I wish the ending was less open; I heard there are more scenes for 5 years later, but I haven't been able to find it.

Excellent drama that accomplishes what it set out to do
I am blown away by this drama. I give the most props to the young actor, Yoon Chan Young, who plays a VERY convincing middle aged gangster in a high schooler's body. The drama do touch on sensitive topics, such as extreme bullying, suicide, domestic violence, and some drugs/alcoholism. While these topics are the main plot points, the focus is more on the characters, action to resolve issues, and some comedy. There is a good pace for progression, so I never felt bored. Even the side characters are entertaining to watch.
I had no idea it was from a BL story, and I didn't feel more than bromance/besties from the 2 MLs. Sometimes it felt like our ML can be a father/adult figure to the kids around him, which makes sense for this story.
Would highly reccomend!!
