is no one else grossed out that they're practically adopted mother and son
Everyone took part in caring for him, and he's basically living and supporting himself since he moved to Tushan.
At most, aside from age (which in xianxia barely matters), she's Chief of the clan, so theres a big power/status difference, and they barely have a teacher/disciple relationship since he takes classes along with the other fox spirits.
As a fan of the book, and now having watched the drama adaptation, I think this is a great adaptation that captures the essence of the novel, including the dynamics of the relationships and faithful to the ending. It's Luo Qiqi's journey through the years that were most turbulent, and meeting the most influential people in her life. It is not a happy fluffy story, and it feels really realistic, like life itself. No one is perfect, and there are a lot of push and pull in the relationships. This is one of those stories that will stay with me forever.
http://m.weibo.cn/status/5036855594848609? LGX and director went mountain climbing and got lost thanks to LGX?
that was hilarious lol. I love Deng Ke got mad at LGX being stubborn getting lost and won't rest and won't admit he's tired, and said "You're Xingyun right now, not Xing Zhi!"
I'm on the 4th ep and it's rather boring... will it get better? Or it's just not a drama for me.I also don't like…
It depends what you're here to watch for. If its action/heavy plot, this drama isn't going to deliver that to you.
For Love story: Theres like 3 major arcs in the drama. Eps 1-6 is the mortal arc and initial foundation setup for FL/ML. Eps 7-14 is demon realm and getting to know the major characters. Eps 15 onward is really focus on love story development.
Personally I enjoyed it from the beginning to end. I came for actors chemistry, love story, excellent CGI/BGM and consistent character developments, and no heavy politcal plot and side characters. BTW I thought the actors looked fantastic in their makeup and wardrobe.
This isnt TLOSL related, but I went down a Princess Agents rabbit hole these few days. I got triggered all over again with this CP lol. I'm just SO HAPPY LGX/ZLY worked together for The Legend of Shen Li, and gave every PA fan a sort of closure.
