Shen Li not letting go of XZ's body to the point she almost collapsed is the most clingy/desperate thing she's ever done to love him, and I appreciate that. She usually is the first to turn around and walk away! He had to lose her so many times traumatically and this is the first big trauma she had of losing him.

the couple energy is so great by the end, "you're mine!" "you're mine!" and the kisses and cuddles and leaning on each other.

LOL i felt that trigger too! If this was another xianxia drama, the "I'm back" is the last scene of the whole thing.

The part that broke me was when he was walking past her dying and trying so hard to make it home to cook a meal for her. I legit ugly cried from there.

Theres a reason, keep watching. Hes protecting her because of the bad guys plans and her identity. She's legit the last fire seal before destruction

A whole fluffy episode is more than we usually get for cdrama endings, especially xianxia. I am happy, and also miss them dearly
