I really like LingOrm but this series just isnβt working for me. I know the girls can act β they showed it…
Not one lie was told. Since the second episode, I got TSOU flashbacks and it's been the same ever since. WAY too much idle chattering and scenes that do not need to be there. You could remove them and wouldn't miss a thing. The whole story looks and feels cheap. It just has a pretty filter. I'll try to keep watching to support but it's disappointing so far.
While there are big changes to the plot compared to the novel and some might feel jarring to those who read it,…
Nah, I don't believe it would've been forgettable if they went with the novel version, especially if LMSY are the ones portraying the characters which I truly believe the author was thinking of them when she wrote it. You'd just need the right person to write the script and knew how to weave in the drama. I'm not disappointed and it's still doing good, it was just the pacing this episode, the drugs, etc. They should've fleshed that out better. I really want to see the rest of the episodes. Even if they moved too fast, I have no issues with them showing how they'll fall for each other in the next episodes.
I really adore LMSY, but having read the novel before starting this show makes me dislike this show so much. We…
That's what I was thinking. They could've kept the novel characterizations but upped the drama. We already have billions of toxic drama characters. I don't want this to be the norm. I'm still loving the series.
Ultimately, it's just a romance series with cheap drama. It's a step above the usual, yes, but it's not going…
Sadly, yeah. I notice that when the novel is fantastic, they like to change it and make the characters toxic as hell, and when the novel is disturbing and filled with toxicity, they clean it up and the series is good. That's some crazy stuff.
