Cute relatable dating show

Comparison to the US Version:
As someone who has seen the american version I can tell you its very similar to the US version in terms of setting. However it feels a little softer and more innocent in a way. I personally enjoyed it more than the american version.

Relationships:
The interactions and conversations were wholesome and it felt very real. Compared to other japanese dating shows I already watched, the contestant didn't came across like they were the usual reality TV characters which I liked. However this might be a point where other people would say that it makes it less interesting than other shows.

I would definitely recommend the show if you want something nice to watch that is both romantic but also feels real.

Cute love story

My Love, Enlighten Me is a very cute love story.

I loved the concept of a failed girl group that needs to adjust in real life and figure out what they would do with their life. Nuannuan is a very likeable character which is very strong and hard working. She didnt act dumb like the female lead in other dramas which I really liked. Her character was very good and grew so much. Eleanor Lees acting is very good!
Han Che however is more like the typical male lead in such storys. The genius with a lack of emotion. But I still liked that he fell for Nuannuan first, tried to get her and eventually was really cheesy.

What I loved: No real villain. A lot of people say Lin Jia Yi is the villain but I dont see it like that at all. She did some bad decisions but she was never really evil. It was refreshing watching a drama without a villain who tries to bring the main lead down all the time. Han Che and Nuannuan are really cute together and the actors did an amazing job. I really liked every character they had as main character. I also loved the OSTs.

What I disliked: In every workplace Nuannuan had, there was a evil girl who hated her. That was kinda annoying. A lot of misunderstandings happend as well which I didnt really liked. Also Guo Li and Han Xue wasn't really that nice to look at. There were a lot of times where I thought Guo Li deserved someone better than Han Xue but at least he got the girl he wanted.

To sum everything up its a cute romantic story and shows how people can grow after hardships.
