A brutal, brilliant study of obsession. Failed novelist Mun-oh, finds genius in quiet student Kang, and destroys himself chasing his story.
It’s about how far some writers will go for literature, and the uncomfortable question of what actually inspires writers to write. Talent? Trauma? Control?
The plot twist is unbelievable on first watch, but perfectly executed. Everything clicks on rewatch because you were trapped in Kang’s narrative the whole time, just like Mun-oh.
No heroes here. Just two men crossing moral lines, with tension built through silence and dialogue, not action.
Bleak, and unforgettable. Skip it if you want comfort. Watch it if you want a K-drama that treats storytelling like a weapon.
what's up with the bad reviews, the drama haven't ended yet, it's always people who don't understand the drama are always quick to jump to conclusions, this drama takes alot of knowledge to understand
Tries to return a phone him: wait "She stops and look back" her: I'm sorry him: what?? her: i have a boyfriend him: hey, wait -- her: i told you i have a boyfriend him: that's great, I'm sure your boyfriend will want to reach you, so take this with you. "stretches his to give her back her phone" her: what?? "still lost in confusion" him: this is yours her : oh my, i see, how did it ... "tries to roast her after getting first hand rejection" him: you don't seem like love at first sight material her: what? him: look in the mirror, you will see what I mean her: move aside "she moves immediately and stares at a mirror" her: what's wrong with my face? *chuckles*
I binge it without knowing its bl ..so either ways its still disturbing and disgusting, I can't even imagine how the actors ended up acting such a drama
The male lead have a lot of pride, while female lead is absurdly obsessed with the male lead
it started off pretty nice but got boring as the drama goes on, might as well drop it sooner than I anticipated I'm half way into the drama but still no development
