Southern archives datawin was far higher than road to splendor so general audience praises for zhang haixia were indeed more . I don't want to mention here but for this drama there were complaints about acting during initial episodes in china😥

It is famous. Crossing 27404 heat on tencent is great. But it deserves 28K atleast in my opinion. It has a great douban score though

His acting got more accolades for zhang haixia than zhao ling. I did love his portrayal of zhang haixia but zhao ling deserves similar applause is what I meant.

During the latest episodes the only thing that still amazes and makes me happy is his acting. This role has one of the most complex emotional requirements for a character. He pulled it off too wonderfully. I loved enxi's acting too. She is soo young but really talented . Zhao ling role should really receive praises from audience but sadly this drama didn't get as famous as it deserves to be in china🥲

I am not against tingyun originally but she did things on her own too without considering zhao ling she did send shen congsi recommendation when he denied after their discussion but didn't zhao ling try to understand her? She can be angry with him because he is not communicating I am not objecting that but leaving him when he is facing so much is really heartless and out of character. Like that man is the one who was always there for her when her own family left her to die. She could give him the benefit of doubt is my point. Yeah I also agree it would have been lot better if zhao ling communicated but his lack of communication doesn't deserve that big of a punishment where she doesn't trust him anymore. Anyway this is just my personal view. I am okay if others interpret it completely differently. But for me tingyun behaviour is more outrageous than zhao ling's

She did talk about it but she didn't accept it in my opinion. Like she is aware of her pushing zhao ling to power and is guilty about it. but now taking out that anger on zhao ling a lot of times. She didn't even think properly about the reason why zhao ling will really kill her father. She can put together zhao ling not coming back home and her father's death together but not her mother's death and zhao ling killing?

He supported her when she is at her lowest and trusted her and accepted her mistakes during those times. The reason he started chasing power was her. I don't blame her to push him towards power initially because she didn't anticipate their current situation back then. But I surely don't like her now acting high on moral grounds and lecturing zhao ling. Also her saying him to stop chasing power. How does she expect him to do that when he is deep in the game. It is not like he did this by choice . He came to capital under emperor decree. How is he supposed to move away from this?? The screen writer spoiled her character for me. She was soo good in the initial episodes. Why will her character be so out of ordinary blaming zhao ling for killing her scumbag father and blaming zhao ling for everything when she herself is the main cause of what happened. She is acting too egoistic to accept that at this point

No hate towards enxi but I really can't stand tingyun anymore. Why is she even acting like that towards zhao ling. I mean she knows him why would he do what he did without reason. It comes out soo dumb.

For me today's episode is really good. Till now this drama really hasn't shown much about zhao ling strengths in detail. Yes I know they established his righteousness and innocence and also resourceful thinking but his growth wasn't really explained in detail. Ep 20 showed his scheming nature and in my opinion zhao ling can navigate court politics better compared to fu tingyun because he has always been surrounded by maliciousness in his life. On the other hand fu tingyun had a sheltered life growing up. She is great at turning things around to her benefit and think about the long term growth in an upper society. She is also great at dealing with the ladies in the inner court because that is what she was trained in by her family. Zhao Ling definitely has the strength to shine in a treacherous court and use his quick thinking to achieve his goals. Okay this became a little long lol😅

I am absolutely loving this drama. The plot , acting and direction everything is really good. I am loving hou minghao fight scenes. He is just aura farming❤️🔥

It is true that his screen time is that low and his fans calculated his screen time with stop watches. The illusion that he has more screen time is because how they have done the editing. They show 1-2s seconds of his shots in between others scenes which causes the illusion of him having longer screen time. And it is obvious that his character got cut a lot because his storyline is reduced to a young lover boy. He filmed this for 4 months and his screen time is exactly 2hr 27min 56seconds in a 27hr drama .And this series did promise 50/50 screen time for the male lead and female lead before the filming started. So there is nothing wrong with his fans being upset and calling this out. They were not trying to make anyone the bad guy. They were just stating the facts
