During my rewatch

I watched this the first time and I enjoyed it but when it was over and I watched others I sort of forgot what happened, however, I watched it again for various reasons.

a couple of reviews I've read said that there was a lot of fluff in the beginning, which I didn't see. I mean Solo comes in and gets Warm Milk from Gui and falls in love with each other, I think it was done well, sometimes we need a little "fluff" because usually, it takes 3 or 4 episodes to get someone to fall in love which is fine but sometimes fluff is good

Supanut; I love him so much, I liked him during my first watch of this but then when I watched Pitbabe, I realized how much I like him as an artist. He has so much expression and emotional range that he makes his character come alive. He can honestly play any role, I hope to see more of him in 2024.

Gui & Solo; I like how they made these two characters interact in this series, Solo comes on a little strongly to Gui and throws out there from the start that he likes him, and usually other series, would have the other protagonist run away and make it out to be this whole thing but they made Gui this really sweet guy who just want to take care of Solo and protect him. Solo is just this sad boy who needs love and reassurance and those are my favorite types of men

Kao & Phu: I enjoy these two storylines, I like how Kao was so head over heels for this man and you can tell the moment he came running in with the trash can Phu was interested and the actor "Phu" does a good job playing the character "Phu" because if you see his eyes, they have a lot of expressions when he talks to Kao.

Khim & The Dr: I didn't care for these two the second time around, I watched them the first viewing but I skipped a lot of their parts the 2nd time as I didn't care too much. Khim's story was sad though with her being sick, thinking the doctor is gay even though they liked each other and her brother being mean to her but since I have seen it the first time I didn't need to see it the second time

I'm not here to talk about Kinn and Porsche

I've seen Kinn and Porsche's story so many times, but I keep coming back because of Vegas and Pete. I have a soft spot for Pete, he was a good fit for this character and his smile is just perfection

We all know Vegas and Pet have a very toxic relationship because it starts with a basic kidnap and captivity, however, there's just something about these two that drew us in, and I think it was the chemistry. Their physical and mental chemistry is just one of the best that there is, it's crazy how a show can make us fall in love with a crazy relationship.

I think it's different in that you see them gradually falling in love with each other throughout the captivity because in any other show the "victim" is forced to fall in love to stay alive. Still, these two do it on their own, especially Pete because Vegas fell for Pete first, you can see it if you rewatch and look at the way Vegas looks at Pete during their encounters. Still, Pete fell harder just from getting to know Vegas and understanding him. Pete had an opportunity to run away but he chose to stay with Vegas.

Also in the last episode when we thought Vegas died, I did not know there was an ending for these two until I reached it and it was so good, I think these two need a spin-off or another series for just them because again, their chemistry is off the charts.

Side note: how did they not know Pete never came back? It's technically the Major's family's fault for Pete falling in love because they took so long to realize he was gone.

Honest Review

This series was good, it definitely had it moments, but here's my thoughts on the 4 main couple...

Ae & Pete - This was my favorite couple out of the 4, there story was more complex and had more depth to it then then others, they had little drama here and there but overall they were just two horny teens falling in love each other & they always looked at each other like they were going to devour each other and I loved it. I did love when Pete came out to his mom & at first she was crying but overall love him and wanted him to be happy, I love that they didn't make her the typical homophobic parent that a lot of BL's do. She even know Pete was dating Ae without him even telling her and she was just so happy.

Tin & Can - This is my least favorite couple (I haven't seen S2 so maybe my opinion will change) but Tin drove me crazy, sometimes I didn't want to finish because I couldn't watch with him anymore, and Can was just to whinny for me. What bothered me is Tin always told Pete that the "Thai program" kids are always dirty and looking for their money BUT when Tin started liking Can he literally bought him everything and got offended when Can said No, also he touched Can & let Can in his car after saying he was dirty, but didn't even apologize for saying that or saying he was wrong about the "program" kids.

Kla & No - We didn't really get to see their relationship much, we just know that P'No's brothers friend liked him, We seen Techno more with Can then we did we Kla, so I don't really have much to say

Tum & Tar - I don't understand their relationship so I don't have much about them either, I would've like to hear more on Tars story a little bit.

Do we need a Season 2?

I liked this one, it was compared to Light On Me and that's one of my fave Korean BL's. In my opinion, it didn't really compare because they are two separate entities but I think it compares in the softness of the series, Granted Color Rush had a little bit more darker theme to it, it definitely gave me that wholesome, spicyless drama we need every so often.

The ending was great though, im not sure it needed a season 2 because of what the topic of S2 is, it didn't end with us questioning if there is a season 2 or not, I haven't seen S2 yet so I can't fully say for sure if season 2 is needed but I don't Imagine because iwasn't rushing to watch S2 because I was happy with how S1 ended

Give it a go

I actually enjoyed this one,

HOWEVER it was suppose to be a "continuation" of 2 moons but they changed Pha and never showed his face which I don't understand, then they made Ming into Mark and Wayo into Wayu...ok?

Then it was suppose to be like "Mark" & Kits storyline BUT they started over with them not knowing each other, which I didn't like because instead of showing us either there relationship flourish or crumble, they made us watch them get back together again from the beginning which we already seen.

Also Where was Forth & Beam?? They needed to be in this so we could've seen there storyline flourish (maybe im bias because they were my favorite side couple)

Also also, we didn't need Pha coming back at the end and ruining S2 (IMO) because we all were fine without him even Wayo .. oops... Wayu ?

I have some thoughts....

Ok... I loved Gen Y season 1 but I can't watch anymore of S2, its not that it was...bad, I just okay ....

I didn't like that they brought back Pha, if they wanted to do the storyline that he was sick, they should've done it in S1 -

Basically start out with Pha and Yu being together then Pha breaks up with him out of the blue, that could be the diagnosis and it was to much for him to hand at the time and then he breaks up with Yo and then the whole S1 could've been like then dealing with Pha's illness and him passing away.

THEN S2 could've introduced the new guy many set " a year later" who basically takes care of Yo due to Pha's dying wish.

like season 2 definitely didn't need Pha brought back honestly. The whole sick storyline In this show was just not for me because I was already fine with Pha not being here for season 1

Literally Love With Benefits sister

Okay.....

‼️‼️ WAIT A MINUTE!! I JUST CRACKED THE CODE!!!!! LOVE WITH BENEFITS WAS THEM FUCKING FILMING THIS DAMN TV SHOW. EPISODE 6 AT 37:22 MINUTES YOU SEE THEM PRACTICING IT IN LWB..... MY MIND IS BLOWN (or im just crazy for not knowing this) ‼️‼️

Episode 1-2 - I like that it has a lot of the cast members from "Love With Benefits", I like the symbolize of Gameplays character being called "Rabbit" because he had the stuffed rabbit in Love With Benefits, speaking of which, the stuffed rabbit makes an appearance which I thought was really cute.

I think Ohm was a little to aggressive for my liking, so im glad they only made his character appear once in a while.

I said this before but im in love with Max, and he needs to be in more shows.

Episode 3- I must be crazy are Love with Benefits and Work from Heart related??? They mentioned in the Presentation that they needed two couples for "First and Play" and those were the names of there characters in LWB. Also the photo scenes 100% give off LWB.

I definitely skipped through a lot of scenes, the grandma and grandpa made me really mad and I didn't;t want to watch there scenes, I also skipped through Thee & VeVe's story because as much as im a max Stan, I was honestly just here for Dee & Knight

I don't know

okay so honestly I really liked this story, but I'm not quite sure why, it defiantly had a lot of flaws but for some reason I wanted to keep watching, so here are my thoughts....

I get gun was infatuated with Bar but what was really crazy to me is EVERYONE was obsessed with Gun, don't get me wrong he's a cutie but nowhere near as high up there as everyone was making him out to be.

Gun was also a little to strong towards Bar, yes he waited years however, he was trying to make Bar like him but idk if its just me but I could tell in Bar's face that Gun kind of made him a little uncomfortable but Bar didn't want to say anything because he didn't want to upset Gun.

Then the whole confessing his love for Gun on the stage gave me secondhand embarrassment, I mean you lost, say a few words and then talk to Bar in private, I would've been mortified.

Gun was extremely possessive like to the point if that was real life Bar's friends would've been put off by it. Also when Dan came all the way to see Bar and invite him out, Gun was like "im not letting him go" like Bar hasn't seen his friend in forever, let him go out with his friends and the night before Bar suggested moving in together so jut move in and then you'll be able to see him. If someone was like that in real like I would've been like no thank you.

Just watch this

I caved and watched the series, I was unsure if I wanted to watch it ONLY because one of my biggest fears is going blind, and shows that have this topic, make me anxious because my eyes are already bad but I was in the right headspace so I decided to give it a go. I was not disappointed and thankfully I was able to finish because it lives up to the hype on TikTok.

Jimmy and Sea have perfect chemistry, no one can take that away from each other and I hope they continue to work together for a long time because I truly think they were made for each other.

It's so refreshing to see Mok be a perfect character, he never cheated on Day or anything that you see in other series, All Mok wanted to do was care for Day and make sure he was taken care of, as well as worry about him but not letting Day know that. We need more characters like him.

One of my faves

I really honestly enjoyed this one from the moment I turned it on.

I really liked the personality of Tin, he was just honestly carefree and didn't really care how others perceived him.

Tin & Pak - They had good chemistry from the start, obvi because they were best friends but they never made me feel awkward when watching them together. I do wish we could've seen how they both developed there crush on each other & what the other people thought about them liking each other because everyone already knew how close they were but alot of people thought they were actually siblings so I would've liked to see that thought process but nevertheless, I was still good. I think there spicy was done really well.

Pao & Kana - These two, These two need a spin off show, there chemistry was literally the best I've ever seen to be honest, Even thought they didn't have much screen time together, whenever they were on screen, I got butterflies. They had 2 spicy scenes and both were just perfection, I really need something more for these two or at least but them together in a new series, Personally I think Long has more on screen chemistry with Tong than Frank.

I feel robbed

(SUBTITLES ASIDE) okay, I didn't mind this series, I think the main reason I enjoyed it is because I know Thai so the subtitles didn't bother me but I completely understood those who couldn't watch it because of the subtitles

I liked the slow burn of Prod and Pluem getting together, we had Prod who was head over heels and Pluem who had no clue what he was doing or wanted, HOWEVER, when they were together, it was completely rushed and unfinished. We didn't get to enjoy them together in the relationship. Seeing them struggle with whatever issues and then seeing them happy. The last episode was extremely rushed and unnecessary, they could've added all that in episode 9 and made 10 the behind-the-scenes

Furthermore, I wanted to see Tum and Suea's relationship because that was extremely out of left field because nowhere in the series does it indicate that they even liked each other, I would've liked to see how they realized they liked each other and how their relationship developed.

Also, I really liked Jess so I wanted to see him happy, also towards the end, it seemed like Nick kind of liked Jess, idk if that could be something but I wanted more of Jess being happy and not just chasing Prod

I think the only true relationship development we got was Soi and Froi's because they showed us pretty much from start to finish.

I almost feel like this was GL more than BL because from the BL standpoint, we really didn't see much but a few kisses, but with the GL part, they sort of had a spicy time and better kisses, in my opinion

Perfect series in my opinion

I honestly think this is one of the best series I have seen in a while. A lot of people might disagree with me because a lot of reviews said it was too silly and 2nd hand embarrassing but here's what I thought...

I think this series is so cute, I love the comedy aspect, it also deals with a lot of things people go through daily in reality and that's so important to have a show that does it in a good way. The comedy breaks up the sad parts so there is a mixture of both.

This series also deals with Multiple Main couples (my personal favorite) but I feel that we get to see equal parts of all the mains and their stories I want more of them but I feel content with what we have, Even though theirs two couples I wanted more of. > Here are my thoughts on the main cast/couples

Jao, Toh, Som & Daisy: I LOVE this group of friends so much, they all accept each other no matter what. The fact that they all cry together when one of them is in pain, just shows how much they all love and deeply care for one another. I would love to see more friend groups like this one. No matter what happens, they never fight with each other or threaten to break up the friendship and I think that is so refreshing to see a solid group of friends.

Nuea, Sky, Tor & Kwan: This is another solid friend group that I LOVE, they also all support each other and help each other no matter what. They also don't question Sky and Nuea when they try to pursue the boys, even though they've been with girls. They all see how happy they are and support them no matter what.

Toh & Nuea: Even though Toh had a secret crush on Nuea, Nuea had one on him just not as extreme. Every time Toh would do something Nuea always knew it was him. They are just the cutest. Nuea was never shy or embarrassed about being with Toh and he doesn't care what other people think. I also like how Nuea found his shrine and all of Toh's things he kept, Nuea didn't get upset and leave him or break up with him. They had an adult conversation about it.

Sky & Jao: These two are my all-time favorite couple, I love how Sk loved Jao no matter what, he wasn't ashamed to be with Jao even though people were making fun of him, and he never left Jao. I felt so bad for Jao, he had really bad body issues and everyone was calling him fat, even though he wasn't fat at all but that's how reality is and I felt so bad. He had a great support system to help him and even Sky by his side.

Daisy & Touch: I love Daisy with my whole heart. Even though we didn't get much of this couple, I loved them. Daisy was going through a lot after she heard Touch's friends talk about her and even changed herself but Touch loved her no matter what and didn't care if she was Trans, He just wanted to be with Daisy.

Som & Tor: We didn't get confirmation on this couple but what I have seen of them, I like them together.

Sky & Nuea: These two are perfect best friends, they both started liking a guy and neither of them freaked out or was overthinking about it, they were mature and realized that they had attraction to Jao and Toh and didn't bother with worrying about others

Nuea's Parents & Toh's Parents: I love how both sets of parents were so supportive of their relationships, even though the dads tried to be tough and scary, in t, he end both sets of dads were happy with the people they chose.

IN CONCLUSION, I love this series so much and I could've watched them all forever

Perfection

I think this series is sheer perfection, I don't think I can find anything wrong with this series. It made me happy and I was so sad when it ended, I definitely won't be mad if they make another season or something continuing this story.

I think Jiang is the greenest green flag that there is, honestly so is Buxia, I liked that they made them both extremely mature and they were able to talk about what was bothering them, they also couldn't stay mad at each other for longer than like a day or two. Buxia hid a secret from Jiang but what I thought made this series perfect is when Jiang found out about the secret Buxia was hiding, he didn't get mad and break up with him or leave him, he went to his sister to try to understand what it all meant and that is refreshing because usually creators like us to go through some big secret and then it leads to a breakup, sadness or revenge but this one did not. Also, I liked that when Buxia was drunk and tried to make a move on Jiang, he didn't pursue the advances because he wanted Buxia to be sober if they did it, which was refreshing. After all, usually they go down the "drunk, spicy" role and honestly, I'm not really into that because when you're drunk you can't give consent and you end up regretting it when you sober up, so I love that they didn't do that in this series. As much as I love the hot spicy scenes, I didn't mind this one not having any, but the makeout scenes made up for it. The ending, them both being each other's "Heaters" was just so good.

Overall 10/10

If you ask me what my love language is...its this series

This is the best BL that Thailand has ever put out, this series deals with the Asian Stigma that you're supposed to follow the rules and no questions asked, and it shows the kids trying to break free from that. While dealing with typical teenage things, meanwhile Ayan dealing with trying to figure out what happened to his uncle. A lot is going on but this series does it in a way that is not confusing or difficult to understand. There are also a lot of side characters but again, it's not confusing at all and you understand what is being said and you honestly fall in love with all the teenagers because you see a glimpse of their stories.

First and Koatung have to be two of the best actors to ever walk this earth, and you can't tell me otherwise. Their chemistry together is insane, they were made to act together. Both boys have so much emotional range within themselves it's crazy. They both can go from playing cute, dorky characters to dark, badass characters, in a matter of seconds. Every time they are on the screen I'm convinced that they aren't even acting, they are playing themselves, they are so comfortable on the screen together and I think the world would implode if they ever quit acting for whatever reason.

The same goes for Neo, he is a very versatile character, and he can play anything you throw at him. He can play cheesy, dorky, dopey, badass, anything and that's why he's such a good actor. He also can have chemistry with any actor as well, even if it is a female, and he never loses that charm. Pairing him with Louis was a smart choice because they both fit together just like First and Kao. I hope in the upcoming 2024, they continue to act together and bring that connection with them.

In conclusion, I think we need more BLs like this, so many try so hard to be "relatable" or they force connections between characters when we just need more like this, lot going on but we can understand it, Relatable not over the type and dramatized.

THIS is how a main lead should act

I think I like the dramas that show the backside of filming or writing BLs because as audience members we don't see that whole filming process, all we see is the final product and we don't understand that some actors just don't have natural chemistry with each other like in this series, Aoey and Sib don't have that connection like Sib does with Gene so everything is uncomfortable and that's how it is in reality, It may look like they have perfect chemistry but truth is, not everyone has that connection nor do they fell comfortable with everyone. Yes its a job and a career that they love but we have to remember that these are people, and I think this series shows us that not everything is black and white like we see on the screen.

Nubsib - He is the best character, not only in the BL universe but also in the world. Sib is so gentle with Gene, ever since he saw him at the auditions, he always had the sweetest eyes toward Gene. Sib's touches toward him are so soft and gentle like he doesn't want to hurt him, his voice is soft and slow so it doesn't seem like he's yelling at him. Sib also jokes around with Gene but does it in a way that isn't inappropriate or in any mean way. He also understands that Gene is confused and he doesn't try to force his feelings onto him or make Gene do or say anything at makes him uncomfortable. The drunk scene in episode 4 was the best-drunk scene out of any BL I have ever seen. Sib never forces himself onto Gene and most drunk scenes end up being spicy or lead to a makeout session but all Sib wants to do is take care of Gene and make sure he doesn't do anything he would regret in the morning/sober.

Gene - Up is the love of my life so naturally so is Gene, I love him. he's just a confused BL writer who doesn't understand why BL is so popular and why it needs so many NC scenes. He also likes Sib from the beginning, you can tell by his eyes but is confused and doesn't know what these feelings he is feeling mean. He also doesn't know what to do because Sib is so gentle with him that it's making him fall for him.

Aoey - I couldn't stand him, he knew that Gene and Sib had feelings for each other, and instead of backing off, he tries to manipulate them and make Gene uncomfortable. I wanted to be like, can't you find your own man?

Episode 5 - I think this episode was uncomfortable -for me at least - because I love Gene/Up and to see him being uncomfortable and upset because Sib had just confessed he liked Gene in the previous episode and then we get slammed by Aoey telling Gene to back off, made me so sad because Gene was finally realizing that he has feelings for Sib. Also, the whole scene they were shooting was uncomfortable because it was giving Ae and Pete from Love By Chance and that's all I was thinking of.
