Underwhelming ending.

Wow. What a letdown from such a wonderful start to the series. Yet another episode where Tine was turned into a whining mess with no backbone. There was hardly any new scenes in this episode, it's safe to say that the majority of couple moments were via flashbacks. I'm very disappointed in this ending, even though it ended happily (always love to see that) it felt like they didn't try to make the story interesting after episode 10. I have no complaints about the acting, the actors have been amazing throughout the series, just wish they had been given better material.

Great character development.

I've loved every episode of the series so far and this was no exception. With this episode I especially enjoyed the character growth of both YongJie and LiCheng, I loved seeing a bit more of the backstory for YongJie and learning about why he is the way he is with his brother. Seeing LiCheng starting to realize his feelings for MuRen was fun to see as well, his protectiveness is very cute and him not understanding why he's so protective is funny to watch.Excited to see where the show goes from here.

I could have sworn there were more than 2 characters in this show.

You would have thought this was the Fighter/Tutor show with how this episode went. I don't feel like an entire episode of them at the beach was necessary, maybe as an added episode after the entire series is over but not during the actual series when we have other storylines going on as well. Not impressed.

Great progress of the story.

I loved this episode, I think it continued and expanded upon the story well but it didn't get too bogged down in useless drama due to lack of communication, which most longer dramas get lost in for at least 5 episodes. One thing that really stuck out to me was near the end of the episode Gun asks Bar if he can hold his hand, I found that interesting because even though we tend to get couples asking for consent for more explicit things, we don't usually get it for simple hand holding. I found that very refreshing and nice.I can't wait for the next episode.

Pacing, pacing, pacing.

Overall the episode was fine, we got some good moments between the main couple and their past counterparts. My main dislike about this episode was the pacing, it was truly awful to have to sit through what felt like minutes of silence while characters just looked at each other with dramatic music playing. Halfway through the episode I contemplated dropping the show because it was so irritating to watch. Good episode content-wise, terrible episode timing-wise.
