I feel 2nd episode was better than 1st episode. The 1st episode was a bit generic but just my opinion. The main lead girl has the very stereotypical motivation to be in the school. We often see these main leads in this genre of shows.
I am in fact more interested in Penneung and White. Honestly, I was looking forward to this show for a loong time but it kinda fell flat for me. However, just two episodes out still early to judge the show!
P.S - i want someone to put Hugo and his gang in their place. 💀💀

I agree with what you said about Kawi's people skill being questionable. He admitted in 2nd episode he doesn't make friends so he just judges people from his perspective. He is doing what he thinks is right but as you said, does feel some remorse in the end of EP3 and it got him questioning if it was the right thing to do after all. I think the show is doing a good job of showing us a flawed character who will have some character growth. This is a romance story, but I suppose there are also concepts of self-discovery and trying to be a better person.

Your comment reminds me of someone who talked about some Chinese actors/actresses trying to look pretty even in scenes where their character is not supposed to 🤣🤣 I mean if an actor supposed to play an awkward af, introvert, loner who is overly dramatic when alone then trying to look flattering while doing it doesn't help. For example - Nanon is My Dear Loser had a very forced and awkward smile on his face but that was exactly his character. An awkward, introverted schoolboy who was clumsy.

Can't relate tbh because I didn't think his smile looked like that but okay 😅

I think some people are being a bit too harsh on Kawi's character. I understand that Kawi hurt Pisaeng but us audience also needs to understand this from Kawi's point. He initially travelled back in time to be with Pear, save his father and be friends with Max again. Instead he ended up making Pisaeng fall in love with him, made Pear sad indirectly, couldn't even save his father and Max didn't want anything to do with him. Kawi is trying his best to fix things without any guidance from anyone. He mentioned no one can tell him if he is making right choices or not and he is aware he will not get many chances. So while he made Pisaeng upset, this is the start of the PLOT. His actions are flawed and that's what makes him more human. He is not some perfect guy who is always making right choices in life. He still has a long way to go but it will happen as the story progresses.

We all have made some wrong choices in life at some point which might have been frustrating to others but seemingly right for us. Some of us learned from our mistakes and some of us didn't learn at all. Kawi is us. Learning from his mistakes. He is messy, chaotic and dramatic but is trying his best at this point. And like the old mysterious man said, he needs to figure out what is best for him. This is only EP 3. I like the fact the story has many dimensions and not all episodes will be the same. Like life, some will be overly sweet, some bitter, etc. But it all contributes to the big picture, the ultimate plot. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Technically all actors get some form of surgery or beauty enhancement treatment in asian entertainment industries. But I guess different people have different perspectives, because I didn't get that vibe but of course for someone else it might be like that 🤷‍♀️

I also think Kawi is not aware of the real beef between Pisaeng and Knot. All he knew is they used to be friends. But you are right that Kawi all he can see now is Pear which makes sense in the plot since he had unrequited feelings for her for 10+ years, he can't just wake up and forget about it. And yes, he knows that Knot is not a good person but he still doesn't think that he is getting played by Knot and his friends. Judging from the glimpse of EP 4, they might set him for failure with Pear, knowing that Pear likes Pisaeng, for their own enjoyment and he might think they are being genuine with him.

We are not there to show him the way 😭😭 we have to let the boy learn from his mistakes...

I am guessing Pear confessed to Kawi that she likes Pisaeng so Kawi got mad at Pisaeng but then have a ✨️moment✨️ while fighting 😭

I thought there was one song with both Krist & Gawin on but maybe I am mistaken haha! I also thought Gawin's OST was a sad one? Again, I think it's a personal opinion here because I am quite enjoying the instrumental variations. Might be different for others 🤷‍♀️

He did realise it you can see it in his expression but he wanted to push Pisaeng away thinking it can "fix" things.

I don't know about other but I actually do that a lot IRL too. Like in confusion, annoyance, when I am upset even when I am concentrating sometimes 😅 but I think that's a natural expression to have right? Or am I weird too 😳

Last comment for the day, the way Pisaeng's hands held Kawi's head during the 😘😘 scene 🙈 their height difference was killing me and now to know that Kawi's whole face probably fits in Pisaeng's hand 😳 I don't know what to do with this info...

I agree, Kawi will learn it soon. They were forcing Kawi to drink and Pisaeng looked uncomfortable at that. Kawi never had friends so he is just taking in what he got, but he will realise they are big jerks.

It's not about budget. Once Gawin's OST and the duet releases, we will probably get to hear more of that. loool I actually wait for the theme to play in different variations so for me it's not even a bother 🙈🙈 In EP 2, the Pisaeng tucking in Kawi score seemed more Bad Buddy-ish though.

You are right in the sense that Kawi is in fact a complex character. His character is meant to be frustrating at first, even Krist didn't like Kawi's character at first. But his character does have a growth arc. He is supposed to be a bit selfish first because this guy, who had nothing, suddenly has people in his life and is doing things he wanted to do. The director did mention that this episode sets the stage for his character growth.
Not sure if you have seen the MV for the OST Redo, I suggest you read the lyrics as it might give some insight on Kawi's awareness of himself later 😊😊 He will still retain his childishness I think because that's what makes him endearing to Pisaeng. Pisaeng is obviously whipped for Kawi's antics.
